It's just as much Star Trek as the rest. The entire concept has good and bad. God knows I have watched Star Trek: the motion picture numerous times and regrettably that is one serious P.O.S.

its a requirement. All Bad guys must appear to look kinda sketchy. Black or dark green jackets are issued out, usually with a few minor rips in the fabric, because, doing bad things means never buying nice clothes.

I'm getting tired of being told that the next episode of Agents of Shield will be the "most awesome ever!!" by the promo. I am thinking that maybe the promos are lying to me, or that they dont know what 'awesome' means....

Exactly my thoughts. The movies are all a fully constructed world in his vision, without much concern over story, except in a grand view. Its an artistic representation using film as a medium, in almost every case. Kubrick uses the films to showcase archetypes, rather than individuals. This is the crux of the problem…
