odd, since for so much of his life Osweiler has been the bigger man

Yeah, there is something wrong with knowingly marketing a dangerous product. Just because someone can make their own choice to do something stupid doesn’t mean thst you should be aiding them in making that choice.

But is it filled with people who would love nothing more than to sell it to people in places like Boulder? Nothing wrong with that. Their little marketing scheme backfired though

West Virginia isn’t exactly filled to the brim with that type, though.

Looks like they were trying to.....make a run for the border.....

Everyone knows that the richest people wear the plainest clothes. They probably saw your Target polo and thought you were some Silicon Valley tycoon.

$8500

Why can’t Qualcomm continue to do those things? SDSU has no problem with it. The Bowl games don’t seem to have a problem with it (they play bowl games in much worse facilities). Monster jam, motocross, international soccer, all of them go on there just fine.

that’s the most millenial hipster shit i have ever heard

A.G. spanos enterprises is the largest builder of apartment buildings in the country. They contributed 5 million dollars cash in a single year to get W elected.

Anywhere you go in california you’ll see his name, from sac to LA to santa barbara to SD.

His checkbook is plenty big enough to build his own damn stadium.

If Dean Spanos really owned half of San Diego he wouldn’t be so pathetically desperate for a new stadium or public money to build it. His problem is that he doesn’t have the checkbook of a guy like Kroenke.

I think I speak for most san diegans when I say no, that’s not better, because we don’t fucking need 500m of our public revenue to be given to dean goddamn spanos, who owns half of SD already.

Yeah...I can’t argue with you on that one. As a Padres fan, it’s just been one long, depressing slide into anonymity since a brief burst of excitement in the mid to late 90s. I was a kid who collected every sports page out of the newspaper during the ‘98 World Series season and got to watch Trevor Hoffman get 53 saves

God, if they stay in SD for the 2017 season and/or work out a deal to stay in SD it’s going to be deliciously awkward and terribly cringeworthy. Last season as the ‘farewell season then you come back for another one? You start removing “San Diego” from your promotional stuff but you come back? You alienate and piss

It’s a win.

Sounds like you’ve been enjoying too many Rocky Mountain highs. I live in Denver and you can see the mountains quite clearly on almost every single day of the year. The only times you can’t are during a winter inversion or if we are being impacted by summer forest fires (usually from other states).

Is it within the city limits? No. However, the San Gabriels are in Los Angeles County.

California’s attitude towards its own importance strikes me as “New York City: the State.” I just say to these clowns “Look, we get it, you’ve got some nice things but so do the rest of us. We just don’t costantly bray about it. Shut the fuck up.”

imo, people who worry about looking cool will never be cool
