The tent cities have me really thinking about Japanese-American Internment during WW2. Is the way I am feeling the way Americans during that time were feeling? Ha, I know the feeling! I get the all-around red face that only fades quite a while later. There is a sweet spot after the gym where it looks like a nice “glow”, in between the heart-attack-face and the usual fairness.

The blotchiness! I like going to classes (in theory now since I’ve been “meaning to go back” for the last 3 years), but inevitably someone will stare at my wide-eyed with concern and ask “ARE YOU OK?!” Yes, it’s just my face, thanks, I’m not stroking out. And this is at the warm up.

I keep feeling really baffled that Anthony Bourdain isn’t in this world anymore — no more tweets or books or episodes to pop into my day. It makes me so sad, especially because a lot of my friends and family struggle with depression and suicidal ideation. I hope they hold on.
