Lol...how will I save for my 911 without all those sweet, sweet crossover deals?

We don’t appreciate your common sense and logical thinking around here. Now excuse me while I go make a post why a brown diesel manual wagon shooting brake Miata will be the savior that automakers need.

“What? No! Ypsilanti?! If you want Ypsilanti you need to go back the way you came, take a LEFT at the old church!”

Why did it take so long for any of those douchebags to help? And the one guy who did go out tiptoed through the snow like a pansy all wrapped up in winter gear and did nothing while a guy in a dress he-manned it without hesitation.

The first thing that anyone should learn how to fix is that loose nut behind the wheel.

Youtube is your friend. Ten minutes of watching Youtube will save you hours of diagnostic time and will show you the mistakes to avoid.

See again: most of the time.

Get a bigger breaker bar. Or a really, really powerful impact hammer...

Every single car owner should know how to do the following:

Brakes.

1) They’re absolutely essential
2) They wear faster than nearly any other component
3) They’re easy to fix (most of the time)
4) Parts are hilariously cheap, shop/dealership labor is not.

My ‘97 Miata is the same. Maybe it’s a Mazda thing.

Here’s something I am embarrassed to say that I only discovered recently, after years of fighting with the (particularly coin op) vacuums to get hair, fuzz, and other detritus off my carpets.

Now playing

I’m sorry - in retrospect, I shouldn’t have been so flippant.

As a long time Michigan resident, I started paying for the additional wheel/tire warranty for my last two vehicles. I have received more benefits than the price of the premium both times.

Depends on where you go to have it done. I recently had the carbon cleaned off the valves of my TSI Jetta and it was about $250. No great but also not terrible, having seen the before and after pictures though it was worth $250 to me. Keep in mind this was the first time they were cleaned in 100K. I’ve seen quotes all

As a public service Tracy could have his Jeeps towed to Warren to fill the pothole.

And then you have wasted your time going to a dealership only to walk away and start the process all over again. Why not know ahead of time that the dealer is full of crap from the comfort of your computer and then you can focus on the dealers who are giving you a straight deal?

Depends on the condition of your motor mounts lol. No way could I daintly shift my Miata between 2nd and 3rd under load. All other gears are smooth as butter after rebuilding my shifter but that one change requires a nice shove and a CLANG. Refreshed mounts would make that less shovey and clangy.

Didn’t y’all catch fire recently?
