I think all non-luxury dealers will balk at or at least be highly resistant to ordering a car. They’d vastly prefer to sell you a car they already have on the lot, or failing that would prefer to do a trade with another dealer (which still gets a car off their lot).

Fuck Samara

So my car (Chevy Bolt) “wakes up” every so often (I think every 6-12 hours) and among other things monitors the state of the 12V battery and charges it if needed. If the car is plugged in to an EVSE (EV charger) it does it much more often.

Not to be pedantic but Tesla doesn’t have a public charging network at all.

Something is broken e46 pictures aren’t showing for me.

Call your electrician, we had a single 110V 20A circuit run out to our detached garage via buried 3/4" PVC conduit. Electrician was able to replace it with thicker gauge wire supporting a new 40A sub panel so I can safely charge at 220v 32A.

Yeah I’m calling sus on the notion that people who find charging in general to be too much of a hassle would be interested in going back to pumping gas.

She has already been told by Tesla she’s not getting FSD, but that was a couple years ago.  Don’t know what version of AP she has.

LOL she had to pay to have her defective by design MCU fixed by a 3rd party because her car was “out of warranty”

That’s a HARD pass for me.

My mom paid for “Full Self Driving” with her late 2016 Model S. I think it was less than 2 years later they announced that her car will never get FSD because it lacks the required sensors or a powerful enough CPU.

I swear Tesla takes pride in making the driving experience miserable.

Reminds me of about 30 years ago when the U.S. Navy Cruiser I was stationed on made a visit to Portland.

Better than the Model S, which originally had a fake grille but was later removed but never looked right to me.

Incubators allow you to multiply the number of eggs you can hatch at the same time with the same amount of walking.   Instead of hatching 1 12K egg in 12K of walking you can hatch (effectively) 15.5.  How does that not save time?

ESPECIALLY if what you want is only available for a limited time, as in the case where only eggs available during a short window can contain a specific very desirable Pokemon.

This is very wrong. I’ve been playing since not long after launch and as of this writing have hatched 8668 eggs.

I have some sympathy for the drivers, at least the independent ones, but at the same time they knowingly bought into a scam system, the only reason these medallions were ever worth anything was because of artificial scarcity and a suppression of all competition.

Not every state does annual inspections. CA doesn’t, it does have a bi-annual required SMOG check but EVs don’t have to do that for obvious reasons.

No doubt there’s some every 10,000 mile maintenance that requires Speciali$ed tools and ridiculously expensive fluids you can only get online or from the dealer.
