As a >6 year EV owner who will never go back to ICE I have no idea why anyone would buy an EV without a reliable & convenient way to charge at home, or at least at work.

FWIW I drive a Chevy Bolt which has a relatively simple but very unintuitive process for shifting out of Park. When the car was new there was at least one documented case of a carjacker failing to steal one because they could not figure out how to get it to move.
