I won’t pay those surcharges because I won’t patronize businesses that charge me extra to pay with a credit card. I don’t care if you call it a “cash discount” I call it a “shop somewhere else”.

Sigh I think he might be:

My point is that if you have the app automatically disable itself above a certain speed you lock out all the passengers and public transit riders from using the app. Millions of people spend a lot of time every day (average of 53 minutes for public transit riders) as a passenger in one way or another (that’s just in

Actual passengers and public transit riders.

So just screw passengers and public transit riders?

Heh according to one of the links he was using the tagline “make Pelham great” which sounds to me like he wanted to “declare” his party affiliation for a non-partisan race.

I’m sure it’s related to upcoming changes to Kinja and former Gawker Media sites. The main remaining sites all looked different earlier this morning but are more or less back to “normal now”.

But the cars being towed aren’t on private property.

Where did I ever say the BBB was credible at anything. It’s well known they take people’s money in exchange for favorable ratings.

Keep driving the Mazda forever.

I’ll be in my bunk.

Yup, they are going to give me $31K for it.

How is that kind of sign even remotely a legal basis to tow someone from a street parking space? That’s clearly a private sign and shouldn’t have any bearing on public streets.

I looked at a Golf TDI, the problem was if you wanted one with any convenience features (such as bluetooth or HID headlamps) you were stuck with a sunroof which killed the headroom. Also I did not like the “cheap” feel of the interior but I understand that is subjective.

Really? Because after months of searching I was left with literally just the A3.

The problem is it’s very difficult for police to catch people who are actually texting (or using their phone in other ways) and driving. People put their phone down when they see a cop and the cop would need to be basically right next to the offending driver to observe them using their phone.

Well arguably if you are riding a bike you should be paying attention to the road not your phone.

So screw any passengers? Including car pool or public transit riders?

I don’t have a problem with the concept of unions, but American unions in general and the UAW in particular.
