I would have more faith in the product and designer/inventor if the guy in the video would not say "rims" when he means "wheels"

I completely agree. Around here BMW drivers are typically the better of the luxury brand drivers.
I'm not really impressed. My '07 GT 5speed would get 32 on the highway with its 3.31 rear gears. Even did a few mods to it and still got that.
I'm always on the lookout for an R63. For some reason the pure ridiculousness of it draws me in so much.
It got the Jalopnik bump. I've always wondered if getting on NPCP helps sell these or keep the seller from taking any less than asking price.
I really don't think deleting everything (leaving the cross over in, it should be obvious that true duals would be dumb) but still having the pipe exit the rear would drone that bad. The sound deadening in the car should help a little also. I'll never know now since we ended up with a different vehicle.
Just changing the mufflers isn't enough to give it the sound like the $10k kit in the video. Most of it has to do to the way those equal length longtubes are made. The video I saw/heard of the S6 with all straight pipe from the header to the x-over to the rear sounded very close. I cringe at the thought of supertraps…
I'll keep you informed on when someone from the federal govt comes to look at the cats on my truck. Yes, removing cats is illegal. Also illegal is modifying the factory tuning which changes emissions. There are lots of things people do everyday to their vehicles that are illegal. My point is, the state I live in does…
I would start with an S6 V10 and just straight pipe the exhaust with no cats (yay not having emissions regs in my state). Almost did this but the wife chose a Jag XF over the S6 I wanted. Most of the exhaust vids on YouTube are the Milltek system, but I remember finding one that was custom straight pipe no cats that…
This is my "get around". 2012 F-150 5.0 Boss ProCharged. Makes just north of 600hp. Custom suspension setup for getting it to handle well which ended up lowering it 3" in the front and 5" in the back. Still use it as a truck loading the bed with furniture, lumber, or anything to big for a car. Tows my boat when…
I just knew this pic would be in the comments somewhere. Was in safety training class for work and the instructor had a whole story to go along with it about how it ended badly and people died. Don't if it's true, but I could definitely see things going bad quickly.
Well, you should probably make another post to support Parker. He's been bumped down to second again. I can only vote so much.
Exactly, the F150 pictured has never been offered with a diesel. It needs to be a GMC 2500 Isuzumax Denali. Rolling coal is the only thing that those do worth a crap except sit at a dealership waiting on warranty transmission work.
I don't give a damn what customers were promised, what wasn't delivered, or what people think. The XJ220 is stil my favorite supercar of all time and the one that I really want.
They should only do it to show Ford that a new Lightning is worth doing. I had to make my own 2012 Lightning which voided any support from Ford when I had a couple little issues that only the Ford techs could fix. Who wouldn't want the 5.8 out of the GT500 in a regular cab short bed truck? Or an EcoBoost 5.0L V8?
it's going to be "hate on the 3 banger exhaust" all day long isn't it?
I hate when people say FWD is four wheel drive when it really means Front Wheel Drive.
Anybody have any details about the B&O red disc in the there? Kinda looks like an A9, but definitely isn't.
Crap! I feel dumb. I can't believe I said V8. I have a 2500 with a cummins in my driveway! I was thinking about high torque and a manual trans more than how many cylinders.
The Ram 3500 gets a 6 speed manual trans and an extremely high torque V8. Though it is a diesel.
