You also have to take in to consideration the work that was put in while doing those miles. This truck was probably being used in oilfield hotshot service. Towing 10k+ lbs on a trailer 24/7 is a lot different than a few hundred lbs in the bed of a Toyota every once in a while.
In the article it states these will not have a person in them flying. That would be a drone in the sense that it is unmanned. I hate the term drone when used for my arial photography and racing quadcopters, but the term drone is used for any remotely flown aircraft whether it be flown remotely by a human or computer.
That is definitely two props at each corner.
On my ‘79 280zx, when the 1/4 gauge hit empty the car stopped. There wasn’t really any buffer at all.
My ‘79 280zx had this and I have been pissed ever since that more vehicles don’t have that. Was my first car and that secondary gauge was pretty much the only one that was ever “full”. Got really gas mileage though, so wasn’t ever a problem just getting to school and work.
The kinja blog post about it has been deleted. Looking at the post on wayback, there were no sources and nothing that directly pointed to him. Can’t find any more information through google either. Anyone care to share real proof that he is running these sites?
“How does a champion podracer become the cast off scraps for which a podunk town’s sheriff can ride around on it? This is like if Lewis Hamilton’s Monaco-winning 2008 McLaren MP4-23 puttering around some Parisian suburb in 2020. Clearly a very fast machine has no place in the hands of mere mortals, and certainly not…
Are they going to have to change any of that to abide by the laws in the US that say you can’t have your taillights on a moving piece of the car? Do they have lights in the trunk that are visible when the truck is open?
Reminds me of this one.
That seems like an awesome bike! I had an ‘81 Katana 1000 as my first bike and it was a blast to ride, even as it was 20 years old when I got it. The Busa front end will make it stop a a lot better too ( I still have the scars running up my arm to prove the factory brakes suck ).
There used be an ad that ran in a lot of the muscle mags years ago that gave out all the crazy details of a top fuel engine during a run. From start to burnout to pass, the engine only turned over 900 times. Which is astonishing to think about.
Auto Modellista is one of my favorite games. The art style was fun and it had (no where near Gran Turismo) some decent physics for such an arcade style setup. Also really loved the engine swaps and that you got to turn your vehicle into an RC car and race at the Tamiya Japan Track. Now I really want to find a copy to…
As far as cheesy terribly written goes... yes, it is my favorite.
This was how I always bought wipers when I was younger. Now, there’s not a single auto parts store near me that even carries refills. Used to be able to get them at Walmart as well, not anymore.
My thoughts exactly. Vettel would have been really interesting to watch in the series.
With the trunk opening up like that with the lights attached, how do they comply with the regulations stating that there has to be rear lights visible with the trunk open? Are there additional lights inside the trunk to facilitate this?
Working in marketing changed my view greatly on this. I thought the same, the ads are annoying, why would anyone click that. Now I see where most of our leads are generated and it is through those paid clickable ads. The numbers that those ads generated was way more than I thought. It also depends on the product or…
No need for adding a V8 to get that power. The 2.7 eco with a tune is more than capable. My ‘19 Ranger with just a tune and 3” downpipe is already setting at 400hp/500lb ft at the motor.
