Arch Linux; how fun! A lot of system builders swear by Slackware. I may try to build an ATX/micro ATX ( Advanced Technology eXtended) system and put XBMC (free and open source media player) on it. One of these days I am going to pick up an Arduino Board and install Raspberry Pi, I think that would be a lot of fun.…
Saving up to three months expenses is always a good idea. I was shocked to learn that, in some countries, individuals will save 30% of their income. 30%! Americans are lucky to save ten (unless you were born in the depression era). This not only applies to money, but food and other consumables too. One never knows…
Some commands are deprecated. All-in-all a good reference. Most Linux distributions are free (as in beer), but do not take into account the amount of time and effort an individual must put in to solve certain hardware/software issues.
What the f%ck*ng hell is a Wallace?
Olive drab, it is so WW2!
Hard to go wrong with all natural materials. Just about anything a man needs, nature has already provided a solution for. I hope you condition it well and pass it on to the next generation!

I switched to Mint after using Ubuntu for a couple of years. I should have switched right away. Mint just seems to work better for me.
@MacAttack: It's like my friend used to say: "Dude, get your head out of the gutter". For the record though, I have no idea what you are talking about. ;)
If you are just using Firefox, I would highly recommend Weave. It is the best bookmark synchronizer for this browser, out of all the managers I've tried.

As a kid, I just heard stuff on the radio. When I bought my own portable, I could record the songs I liked on cassette. My parents both had record players and I still remember cranking "Houses of the Holy" when my mom was out.

Leftover wine? ;)
@Zinger314: Wait for Windows 14, they might have it together by then. That is, if they are still around.
