VLC is awesome! I paid for interVideo WinDVD Gold and it totally sucked! I have had some glitches with VLC (it might be fixed with this beta) but it has always played. If I had money to blow (yeah, right) I would totally donate to this project.

I waited so very long for Songbird to get out of beta and then they dropped linux support. It was about the worst thing that they could have done for this project.
I could never get Xmarks or FoxMarks to work very well.
EasyTag is a great Editor for Linux.
I was having some problems with the previous release, so I decided to do a clean install with the live disc—it was a really bad decision.
What a great application! I wish that you would have posted this sooner as I have spent countless hours editing meta data that TuneUp can do so much faster. This is an awesome application. I have a lot of mp3 files that I wanted to convert to AAC and this has been the quickest way to do it. I don't know about the tag issue since the mp3s were not tagged to begin with. I have not used soundkonverter (guessing its KDE based?).
