There are so many questions people have about the Switch still, but when you look at the blunder that was the Wii U, you can see the reason why. They don’t want to make the messaging any more confusing than it needs to be. With over 2 million preorder sales just in time for the end of their fiscal year, they have no

Re: spending $60 at launch, it’s Ubisoft this game will be like 40-50% within 3 months

While it may not seem “right” for an EVO to happen without Marvel, I was really hoping that the ninth game would have been something different.

I don’t know if this is right. For me it should be only compared to all previous Nintendo hardware releases. We all know the Big N don’t give a damn bout any widely accepted protocols.

So it never occurred to anyone to ask the White House staff how to turn on the lights?

Coming at it from an academic standpoint, scholarship of videogames really needs people OTHER THAN SCHOLARS AND ACADEMICS to come up with terminology like this, either for mechanics or otherwise, so we can all stop relying on decade old vocabulary developed by game theorists who haven’t played a videogame in their

Same. I actually liked the term.

Counterpoint: Hitman

Interesting, I didn’t know I could disagree so thoroughly with a single person! I’ve played every main Final Fantasy from 1 through 15 (excepting 13, could not make myself like it) and this is without a doubt my second favorite. I view it as a towering achievement and a game that confidently rises above its flaws (and

If it’s meant to encourage all sales, why does it incentivize employees to sell fewer new games/systems and more pre-owned games/systems?

This is why these sorts of lawsuits are always filed in Texas... because jurors there are backwards, ignorant technophobes that always award the plaintiff.

I heard this game just isn’t as good as Cyber Sleuth which as one of the best games from last year isn’t a surprise. However I haven’t heard a whole lot of good things about this game yet.

On one hand: so far it’s scratching the nostalgia itch I have of the very first game because it brings back so many of the same characters / looks. On the other: Cyber Sleuth totally spoiled this game. The combat is much, much less interesting and grind-y. Not to mention what you said about the evolutions.

Why is nobody bringing up Qaddafi’s 2009 UN visit, when he literally camped out on an estate owned by Donald J. Trump?

I’m all for rich Trump supporters to throw around money while desperately telling everyone they meet that they’re not racist. I get the impulse, and the $450 is crazy generous. But saying the equivalent of, “Oh, you’re one of the good ones. Here’s some money.” still seems off putting.

I agree. I’ve argued with friends for years that we don’t have racism based purely on race. We are now in a state of socio-economic discrimination. It just so happens that socio-economic discrimination is rooted in race.

As a conservative that has lurked in various gawker comment sections via the links on Kotaku for the last seven years, I finally had to post. I am loving every second of this. Yea, I find making fun of republicans just as funny as democrats, but I rarely get to see the latter around here. Anyway, I’m pretty sure they
