Oh no. I'm totally sorry. No conditionals.
Oh no. I'm totally sorry. No conditionals.
I really assumed it was something people pretended to be in to in order to satisfy some sick macho guy fantasy. Which would be distressing.
I didn't know something. I guess that makes me a concern troll?
Are you always a raging bitch? I'm just saying. You're being overly defensive. I legitimately did not know people liked it, and you've been on full rage mode since comment one.
Eh. I recognize I'm extreme. I also think it's gross when people call each other "baby". Like, what the fuck? There are babies, which hopefully you do not have sex with, and then there is your S.O. who you hopefully don't have the same feeling toward as you would a baby.
Accurate. I certainly didn't mean to shame you, but it is totally something I just don't get.
dude. It's creepy. Care to justify why it's not creepy? This isn't about being a 'good' or 'bad' feminist. It's about "how the fuck does this even make sense?"
That's relieving. Or would be, if I dated boys. As an adult...I prefer to date other adults.
Yeah. Apparently it's a thing. More distressing? The women who are turned on by it (or are willing to pretend to be).
Happened to me once. Dumped the motherfucker. Bullet dodged.
I thought this was true too.
People are creeped out by ambiguity. It's why we instinctively hate clowns and don't trust people in masks. We've learned how to read people's faces for hints of their intentions, and when you take away that ability it makes people feel uncomfortable.
Those are both YA.
Oh. I'm sorry :( I never know...
I know! It's not a popular opinion. The writing just wasn't particularly beautiful. I love WORDS, to really love a book I need cadence. I need quick word play. And I need a great deal of wit.
Adult novels are still being published MORE than young adult novels. By a large margin.
Oh good. Let's get some classism going in your 'arguments'. That's exactly what they were missing.
The best attitude regarding books.
You're not even making arguments. Just blanket claims based on your obviously limited experience. If the only two YA series you can name are Twilight and Hunger Games, I'd submit that you're obviously not particularly well read in the genre.
Haha, yeah.
