She sounds like a hoot at parties.

As a woman....nope. I 'talk to' 'love' and 'listen to' my significant other. I don't 'train' them. They are not a dog.

To a certain extent this is how everyone acts. They just don't think about it as training a lesser being.

While this is shit, I totally agree that it is not okay for women to hit men when they're angry. And starfishing in bed is some bullshit.

Margaret Atwood, Gloria Naylor (loved Mama day), Arundathi Roy, Ursula LeQuin (if you like fantasy), Maggie Stiefvater (Scorpio Races/ The Raven Boys are my favorites), Toni Morrison , Octavia Butler (amazing science fiction).

I really want to know what your rationale is for this. Please go on.

It's worse than that. There are 3 50 Shades of Grey books, 4 Twilight books, and 3 Hunger Games books. Most of us only liked about 2.5 of the Hunger Games books in terms of material. Sooo 2.5/10.

As someone currently getting an MFA in writing for teenagers...You're wrong. That's all there is to it.

whatever, bras are the greatest invention ever. Without them I would never leave the house. I'd just lay in bed in agony crying.

I feel like my advertisement wouldn't be as inviting.

yeah, who doesn't want to jump in and correct them? Because Harrison Ford was hot as HELL as Indy.

I hate Hemingway too, but his minimalist style is iconic and would be taught no matter WHO wrote it. He's taught as a modernist American/ex-patriot author who simplified description while still creating beautiful images.

I think we're mostly talking shit about her for having a writing job and not being able to you know...write.

Ehhh, it's all about banging your brother.

How are we missing the comedic gold of :
