I'm for teaching children to think, and religion is the opposite of that. Religion says "this is right, all other things are wrong, there is no discussion."

How do you determine when intervention is necessary? You cannot rip every child who is in a religious family away from their parents. We do take children away from abusive parents, when we can find them, but freedom of religion is kind of a thing we believe in.

Lots of well-meaning , loving parents instill shitty attitudes and values in their kids.

Is it cool to just assume they do? I agree, it sucks. I'd love to go free everyone from their oppressive religion, but that's disrespectful. You can't just assume that people are waiting for you to save them. All you can do is make it clear that you're an open door, and be prepared to do everything you can.
