That story from Patricia Arquette made me so proud. Girls need to be taught that they can and should stand up for themselves in those situations. I don't know about you, but I grew up in a family that taught me women should be polite no matter what. Don't get me wrong, I love my parents, but it took me a long time

This woman is at least 40. At least.

We have this awesome story about the new wife of a friend's dad. Friend's mom is the nicest, most wonderful woman you could ever meet, but they had a nasty divorce when Friend was young. Now Friend's dad is remarried to a woman that everyone describes as...well...trashy. The best story is the one where they were at

Oh! Phew....ok. I had this terrible image of the poor little boy's soul following around his mother, all the while trying to get her attention and unable to :( So glad that's not the case!

I'm so sorry for your loss :(

GAHHHHHHHH that's terrifying. Stuff of nightmares.

That's incredible. Thank you for elaborating! I'm going to ask another friend of mine who is very involved in spirit-y things her take on it as well. The thing is, any kind of *scratching* immediately sets off severe warning bells in my head. Maybe it's the Catholicism thing (plus the ridiculous amount of research

And...the last story? What happened?? :)

OOH TELL ME MORE STORIES :) :) :)

Oh, my Lord, that whole thing is so sad... :(

Wow, is this true? I don't mean to doubt you at all, and it certainly doesn't read as fake, but the scratching at the door after you locked it is unlike anything I've ever heard before when dealing with the supernatural (not to mention terrifying!). And then the door was open? Do you think you opened the door after

This is terrifying. I got chills reading it, and I am not easily fazed. You are so brave!
