I'm so happy that I count you among my closest friends! :-D

Congratulations!! You are excused from last weekend's meetup :-D

I hadn't really thought about the anti- vaccine shit...Which I HATE with a fiery passion. I have more to say, but I'm at the dentist with the chattiest assistant EVAH!

NYC, you know I have nothing but respect and love for you, one of my favorite GTers, but:

This is the best! :-D I hope you have a good week! This was my main point- don't pretend you're sorry for knocking someone's personal experiences when you're clearly not.

I make a sad art out of trying not to step on anyone's toes, value everyone's side and am horribly, painfully passive aggressive. But, you're a dill-hole here. There was no point to posting this or your sorrynotsorry ETA.

Thank you for writing this- I really do feel like I learn so much and my perspective grows each time you write about your experiences.

Like Dear Fucking God, THE WORST

Beautifully said.

Literally, "hun," the worst.

Burt FTW.

There are so many damn pamphlets of information that I wish existed so I would've had them as a teenager, especially teaching me to actually use my own feelings and knowledge, instead of regurgitating what the people around me ignorantly thought and said.

I get that shit from other women though, too. They ask "seriously?" when I'm like, yeah- I watch a lot of football as though Mr. Bright Eyes is gluing my eyes open to watch. I guess I grew up with more dude friends so I never got the patronizing thing from them, but I do find the women who do it to me frustrating.

No problem! Yeah, I saw you over there. I know it can be frustrating.

Could you use like a squished throw pillow (decorative) or the like? Then it could look like you were making your area "your own" and double as extra protection...that way no one is the wiser. If you leak on it, you could switch it out/wash it/etc.

Depending on where you live, for example, where I am- there are other programs with dogs, like one that take trained therapy dogs to hospitals, schools to help kiddos read and work with children with Autisim. Shelters tend to make me depressed also (and want to come home with 10+ dogs).

As a person who frequently has medical procedures involving needles- I know your fear is very, very real- but if you by some weird chance end up needed to have it done, I'm happy to talk to you about it. I have not had it in my chest {please read slowly if it's going to freak you out} but I rather frequently have them

If you write something you want people to read (you know, Sunday-Friday), post it to your blog and then comment back on my comment and I'll post it to Group Think if you don't have posting privileges.
