While I sort of agree with you, you’re also saying that like there are a lot of Camaro powertrain options. I wouldn’t call this the tippy top because the only things available this year are the 1/2LT and 1/2SS. It’s just the standard V8 Camaro putting down these numbers, not some ridiculously specced out version. Now,

I don’t know how on earth they picked the MLaren F1 quip for COTD over this...

Look at all those chunks of pavement! Wow.

I’m not. See my reply below.

I’ve more or less done that, and Dallas is definitely different. I never said it wasn’t. Maybe people are mistaking my point, so I guess I should clarify. What I meant was this:

What do you mean, “Get real”? Are you saying that it’s incorrect that most places 2000-3000 miles apart have different cultures? I never said that nearby places couldn’t also have different cultures, if that’s what you meant.

Yeah, I guess “cleaner” needs to be defined. Sure, there’s a bunch of CO2 in it and whatnot, but in terms of more harmful pollutants, there are more in the intake than the exhaust. Essentially they’re pretty much at the idea combustion chemistry by the time it makes it through everything. Or at least very good

The original statement was the humor in Germans thinking Americans are all alike despite occupying such a huge area of land, so by your Dutch/Belgian example, they should know that we’re not all the same even if only by sheer geographical distance and no other factor.

True, although in my understanding, DEF consumption is a very small fraction of the rate of fuel consumption.

I mean, I feel like there aren’t that many places in the world where you can drive for 2000-3000 miles and experience exactly the same culture. So in general, yes, it is.

On newer semis, the emissions (assuming the scr/filtering system hasn’t been tampered with and is functioning properly) are cleaner than the intake air. Or course, this costs some power to run, and our good old boys don’t like anything that takes power away from their truck...

Well that was misleading.

Lucky until you start tipping a little too far, anyway!

Didn’t know about this Chicken Tax until KomradKickass pointed it out. Seems like this effectively eliminates the possibility of these coming to the US, regardless of whether anyone outside the US builds them... A 25% tariff makes it pretty difficult to beat out any competition, and therefore make profit.

Honestly, I’d love to see you own a newer Camaro or Mustang. They get a lot of crap around here, but I feel like they would make for some interesting articles.

Definitely a lot of gifs around here. I’ve only ever made a couple, so I’m sure it’s not bad once you’re used to it, but I just find it takes so long to make them. That little circle took me a google search plus 5 seconds to make, and it does the job!
Although a fancy gif of the cup holder in motion could be cool...

Oh, I try. It’s all they give me at work.

Lookin good! I have the Chevy variety. Have you done much to your 3800?

Reminds me a little of the gnomes from Fairly Odd Parents, too.

It’s all subjective, there is no correct. I happen to think the front end of the second gen looks terrible, but I have no problem with people liking it or wanting to buy it. There’s no way to appeal to everyone with the looks of a car. No matter what you do, there will always be someone who loves it and someone who
