The trouble is that while we all hope these people would learn their lesson, they largely haven’t (yet), and in the meantime insurance rates are going up for everyone. Maybe not as much if you’re not in a disaster prone area, but at some level, we are all paying the price.

Has Koenigsegg ever made a bad car? I can’t really say since I’ve never had a paycheck big enough to even dream of owning one, but I can’t really think of one that didn’t at least look and sound like it would be distinctly not bad.

You can still get the offline installer files, both for Windows and Linux, just not on Yuzu's site or GitHub anymore. It's a bit more of a pain than it would have been, but if you're the type of person to use a Steam Deck, you are definitely techy enough to figure it out.

Pretty sure the opposite was true. I believe I recall a friend installing Ryujinx specifically because it was the only one that ran TotK when it leaked, otherwise they would have used Yuzu like normal. Took several more days before it even loaded successfully on Yuzu.

The depreciation is certainly real, I think largely because people assume (not entirely wrongly) that repairs will add up and therefore the car isn’t worth as much. And this definitely leads to a lot of older Audis being bought by people who just want something fun/fast and aren’t thinking about maintenance costs.

Who is talking about legislating? I thought this was just a discussion about who actually legitimately needs a huge truck/house/whatever, and could not possibly make do with something smaller.

Also, for the record, the K03s on my B5 S4 are still alive at near 190K miles. Fingers crossed, haha. If/when they go, I will probably swap to K04s or something similar. The added lag won’t be ideal, but it would be nice to not be operating at basically max air output like with the K03s. Should provide some extra life.

That kit is a zero to stage 3 kit (minus a few things that might not be required but you would probably want, which this car has, mainly related to fueling). You don’t need the injectors, inlet piping, or ECU in that kit for this car as it’s already got them.

You’re thinking of the sport mirrors, which were an option. Normally the mirrors are body color. But yes, this plasti-dip looks bad. I don’t think that’s a stock mirror, which might explain the plasti-dip.

Pretty sure the aluminum mirrors were one of the “sport” options. Also, I’m not sure these mirrors are stock. They don’t quite look the same as mine, even accounting for the difference in color.

As an owner of a not-as-modified 2000 S4, can’t say I necessarily agree. Have you owned one? They definitely can be a money pit, but mine has been pretty good to me. And Subarus can also be a money pit. Statistically the odds might favor the Subi here, but it is absolutely not a certainty between the two. This car seem

Vans and SUVs are acceptable for 3+ car seat reasons (and/or towing, etc), but a giant truuuuuuck is another matter entirely. The only reason you need one of those is if you legitimately need to tow like 8000+ lbs somewhat regularly. If you’re towing less than that, there’s a reasonable sized SUV that can do it, and

Not entirely true for Starfield. You can do quite a lot in one playthrough, but there are several exclusive quest choices in the game which you would have to do New Game+ to get the other side of. Or look it up, I guess.

Why are they just doing this now, you ask? I mean, it’s pretty clear. AI is blowing up into a huge and profitable industry, and it sounds like most of them are including all of Reddit in their training data. For free, until now.

I don’t drive a modern VW, Volvo, or Acura, so I can’t speak to most of those, but looks? All of these modern SUVs look the same. I think the Acuras look a bit weird, although nowhere near as bad as the sedans. But there really isn’t much of a contest in this segment in terms of looks. None of them look exciting, in

Sure, I guess it depends at what point it clicks off. When I first bought one of my cars, it would click off even at the lowest lever setting, so I had to fill it up at a slower rate by hand. I was mildly annoyed, but I don’t think it ever took me longer than 3-4 minutes to fill the tank and my hand never got tired.

I’m not sure I’d say phones are specifically designed to keep you from being able to open it. Their primary purpose is to look pretty and keep water and dust out. That just so happens to mean that it ends up being difficult to open. With the right tools, it can be done, since techs have to be able to perform repairs

Imagine his surprise when he showed up in two weeks to find your dead neighbors.

That is so much more work than just filling at a slower rate so that it doesn’t click off (until full).

Right? My wife is from England and I’m seriously tempted to suggest we move back there because basically every single car is a diesel manual wagon. Plus they get most of the fun stuff too.
