You’re not alone, my grandma has had an 02 Z28 since it was new, and neither she nor my mother ever noticed it. It wasn’t until my mother was in my car with me and I used mine that she realized it was a thing.

I think they look much better with the ground effects trip pieces from the RS. Some of the V8s had them and some didn’t, but the ones that did were much better looking.
You still have to take into account the resistance of the human body, which (depending on how dry your skin is) can range from 1,000 ohms to 100,000 ohms.
Where’d that 32mpg figure come from? The best I see listed in the chart is 28. (not that you buy a 911 for fuel economy...)
You’re certainly entitled to your opinion, but I’m curious, why do you think this? You’re literally saying that even if one day their cars were the best on the market in every single aspect imaginable, you would not buy it simply based on who manufactures it. That doesn’t make sense to me... If they make a good…
Yup! The Forest badge.
Yeah, you’re probably doing enough stinking already. (joking)
You mean 50-100lbs. Or if you’re talking about the RS4, then 200. Whether or not the RS7 is a sports car, it’s on the list, so they must have run it for a reason. For $55k, you get the absolute base C7. No money left over for different tires. The Camaro can be had for $51k. Not that it’s a huge difference, but like I…
The Z/28 was never about streetability, so if that’s your only complaint (sounds like it is), then you’re looking in the wrong place. For a track car (like this car was built to be), lap times are pretty important, and are definitely a verification that this is a bargain.
Neither of them are even the heaviest on the list. I never said it was light, but it could be worse. Could be an S4. There are still a number of cars considered “sports cars” that weight a fair bit more. The RS7 has 700lbs on the Camaro, which puts the Camaro right around the middle of the range. If you don’t want…
What are you even saying here? Its weight is about the same as the GT-R. Not like it’s insanely heavy. It’s also down on power compared to everything else near it in the standing. Seems pretty competitive to me.
As for your point about the owner’s skills, the same argument applies to literally any car ever.
Regardless, irregardless is not really a word.
True, mine is bone stock. My grandma actually drives a 2002 Z28 (also stock), and hers has been great to her. Not to say there isn’t a point to be made about some Camaro owners! I will admit that there is. But there are also definitely some that are quite reliable and safe to drive.
I wouldn’t call our weather “harsh” compared to the tornadoes, hail, hurricanes, and earthquakes that other parts of the States get-
I mean, yes, our weather is the worst! Never move here.
Baker is even closer.
Been driving one for over 4 years, it’s been completely safe so far.
Hence the gearing.
Not only tight onesie, but tight shiny plastic onesie. I’ll pass on that...
