I can honestly say... I don’t think I’ve ever really noticed or cared about my sports car’s interior. Daily driver? Sure, of course. In a sports car, I’m focused on the road ahead, the apex, the end of the run, whatever my target is. I’m sure as hell not focused on what my centre console looks like.
This is a myth pushed hard by manufacturers trying to justify dropping cars. Because cars sell fine, even with no marketing support and an infamous transmission the Focus could easily sell over 100,000 units. The Fusion was regularly selling over 200,000 units annually when it was cancelled.

You do realize this is just a concept, right? Volvo has some of the nicest interiors in the business, so I would expect the same for the Precept.
all I know is, my pupper thinks doors with no sound proofing and a loud exhaust are terrible and she whined and had her tail down the whole time
