this lierally made me LOL. thank you sir.

Sam, I normally really enjoy your articles, but this is one of the worst articles I've read on Gizmodo. As someone who works in the industry (and is qualified to work on the F-22) and has a ton of experience working with fighter jets, I'm appalled with the amount of sensationalism found in this article.

It probably runs off of a generator that is powered by hydrazine, like the emergency power generators found in fighter jets. These generators are very small but put out an incredible amount of power. Merely spectulation on my part though.

It is very pretty, and how wonderful does that interface look?

It could be that the brightness on the iPhone 4S was turned down. I wouldn't judge the quality of screens based on a video that is benchmarking the browsers. AMOLED screens are very pretty, but so is Apple's Retina.

Don't get me wrong man, I'm still going to buy a Galaxy Nexus. I'm sure the fortified glass works very well and doesn't bother me, but it's a loss of a key selling point. The average consumer will see this as a weak point.

What Omnislip said. Hopefully the fortified glass will be sufficient.

There have always been staple features seen on most Android devices that set them apart from the iPhone. Gorilla Glass and micro SD card slots being two of the major ones. It's sad to see that Samsung failed to include these. It will still be a killer device though.

You say that the F-22 will be scrapped due to a simple OBOGS problem and replaced with the F-35? The F-35 uses the same fuckin' OBOGS system. Check you facts before asking a dumb question. The F-35 is also way over budget and way behind schedule. And there may be a design flaw that causes cracking in the wings of

And tell me, how many airframes are as advanced as this one? Trust me, I work in the industry, it's not going anywhere.

It'll be around for decades. The SR71 was a very specific aircraft built for one thing, taking unexpected pics of the Soviets without being hit by missiles. The F-22 is a fifth gen air superiority aircraft that's also capable of deep penetration tactical ground attack. Also, the AESA radar package is so powerful

You are half correct. ICS will indeed unite the phone hardware with the tablet hardware, OS wise, but that does not mean that current hardware will support it (or would be chosen to support it by the manufacture).

It's not fragmentation, but rather consumer choice. When I would looking at buying an Android phone I considered the Droid X and the Evo 4G. Both have 4.3" screens. But the DX has a 16:9 aspect ratio whereas the EVO is 4:3. One of the main reasons I went with the DX is for the 16:9 screen. Both phones run 99.99%

I feel that I must add that the current fleet of F-16's will be sticking around for quite some time. Especially those owned by the ANG. Currently they are going through a major avionics upgrade with more on the drawing board. Combine that with lower flight tempos and higher quality maintenance (IMHO) and the fleet

Correct, they stopped funding the production of new aircraft. They still make parts. The F-22 is designed to be used with other 4th and 5th generation aircraft in the theater using datalinks. It can literally lock onto a BVR target and fire missles off the rails of other aircraft. There is no need to have almost

No, you are just an Apple fanboy that constantly streams youtube videos at 1080p on your iPad while downloading album after album off of iTunes onto your MBA! Admit it! It's all your fault! /s

Most sealants used on aircraft have a set time that they must be checked at. Until the cure check is done, it has to be protected from the elements for 12 to 24 hours, hence the tape. Most sealants set up in about a half hour.

After. See above then add ME, NT, Vista and XP. So use XP, because it's the latest.

The Android Market has pretty much the same to offer as the App Store at this point. Android fanboys will say that the Market is better because more of the apps are free (failing to point out a lot of them require an in app purchase to upgrade to the full app), and the Apple fanboys will tell you about how the Store

I looked at both pretty extensively, as well as the Acer and Samsung Tab, and ended up with the Asus. The hardware is pretty much the same across the board, iOS is pretty tired IMHO, the keyboard dock and 16 hour battery life are what sold me. The Android Market has everything I would need.
