The glorious "Horse Outside" by the Rubberbandits includes a lyric comparing the horse to "Billie Piper after half an ounce of coke."

I love this song and the video is brilliant - i grew up on Trumpton, Chigley and Camberwick Green so this is both nostalgic and weirdly discomforting

Please can we have a scene where she smacks Gibbs on the back of the head?

Brawl In Cell Block 99 is a terrible title, but at least it's clear on what you can expect when you go into the cinema.

i just rewatched Run Lola Run after many years, and it holds up really well. i enjoyed Perfume, loved Heaven, and am partial to a lot of stuff in Cloud Atlas. Nothing about the trailer or things I have read about this film would ever lead me to think Twyker directed it.

fitfully entertaining, but ultimately exhausting

i was devastated by that film. absolutely perfect and heartbreaking and very unnerving

Keith is indestructible, or at least cannot be killed by natural methods

and does this season review indicate that AV Club won't actually review each episode??

agree completely. exact same thing happened to me.

Six Foot Two Inches of Australianness. There's a great moment where she dances with Hollander, and he looks like a fucking munchkin

Good little thriller if I remember …

he doesn't. He dances a little bit, though

if i recall, Corky in the book wasn't very intimidating, either, and resorted always to verbal put-downs. He's even more of a raving queer in the book, if that's even possible. Hollander is brilliant in the role, as far as I am concerned.Hiddleston is great, and Laurie is wonderfully oily, but it's really Hollander
