Not being “mainstream” doesn’t make it acceptable. The only way to handle a narcissist is to be unrelenting at highlighting the person’s faults until it’s impossible for anyone, including him, to ignore. There will be plenty of actual faults to expose. Making them up is beneath all of us.

Richard Simmons is proud of your stretching

Every time you write an article like this and cry “plagiarism” ... even in jest ... where there is none, you strengthen the opposition. It allows them to go, “See ... fake news” and encourage people to ignore anything said about the President, even when it’s true.

I’m gonna be honest, this is super weak. I want it to be plagiarized but this is such a generic statement and something one would expect at an inauguration. Cool video tho

So where’s the plagiarism aside from the five words “back to you... the people”?

You leave Napoleanne Bonaway alone.

The first time I’ve ever agreed with you.

The tanks and such would be ridiculous, and just stupid fodder for his detractors (I have never seen anyone more tone deaf than Trump)

But in 10 years, current 14-year-olds will say this was “the defining moment that made me, no, FORCED me to become a political blogger.”

As much as I’d love a military parade this isn’t the venue for it.

they’re very common in nations like North Korea and Russia, where their respective armed forces are regularly used to show political strength. warn people not to step out of line.

Oh there will be tanks and missile launchers, just not visible ones.

I mean who wouldn’t right. Hell I’d want to ride down the damn street in one. If you haven’t had the pleasure of riding in an M1 its pretty fucking awesome, unless your in the desert.

If only real Humvees came with white walls!

You should read up on a period between 1933-1939. Were there was quite a lot of appeasing Tyrants going on. Before the invading of Western Europe, leading up to the Japs to get in on the action.

It’s not that simple. Our (the United States’) interest in this situation is deterring Putin from invading/annexing/otherwise acquiring territory that we’re pledged by treaty to defend militarily.

It is not about alienating Russia, actually. Putin has shown a clear disdain for international norms, such as invading Ukraine, menacing the Baltics and Poland. It would be one thing if Putin wanted to respect their neighbors’ autonomy, but they do not.

The problem is Russia is run by former KGB operatives that seized power when the USSR fell. They want to return their country to the “good, old days”. We can engage in diplomacy with them, but we should not forget what their end goal really is: moar power.

I hate Subaru ads....
