I demand that you call it tartan. Plaid is the incorrect term for tartan patterns.

You better be ready to go to jail for wearing what you call plaid, and what my ancestors call tartan. /s
I hope this gets resolved as quickly and heroically as the baseball shooting this morning. Violent crime is always a tragedy. I sincerely hope that we can come together as a country, turn down the vitriol, and find some common sense solutions or compromises.
Find me an example of Republican voters saying it was okay because she was a Democrat.
Nothing about this is funny.
People have every right to be angry. I sympathize with those people. I do not sympathize with angry people who think the solution is violence, much less political assassinations.
Nobody is asking you to empathize. But showing a little sympathy after an attempted assassination of Senators and Congressmen is what decent people do, regardless of political party.
Petty divisive people like you are what is wrong with this country. On both sides.
Just found an article that says it’s set in the Ptolemaic period, which would place it between 300-30 BC. Much more interesting period with lots of political intrigue. The Romans are coming to power, the Hellenistic dynasties are squabbling, etc.
Have the developers indicated what time period this is set in? It looks like the pyramids at Giza are prominent, and those were built in the 2500s BC, the Old Kingdom period. But I also see what looks like some very Hellenistic armor and weapons, which would place it thousands of years later (just prior to the rise of…

A really slim one built into a glove is not a bad idea. I was trying to think of other areas, like possibly the ear.
They’re probably getting O2 delivered on base to the infirmary already (I would put a lot of money on that). Oxygen supply companies don’t carry ejection seat sized tanks, but that seems like something a small adapter could take care of. I have an adapter for propane tanks that allows me to refill the small bottles…
Fingertip sensors would be out of the question because they’d get in the way or get flung off. But there are other places you could potentially put them. Blood flow changes don’t really affect the O2 sensor as long as there is sufficient blood flow for a reading. The sensor measures the spectral absorption of blood,…
Bingo. Payload, range, and that fantastic avionics suite is why the F-35 is important. In a “clean” configuration (all internally stored weapons), the F-35 carries as much payload and 50% more fuel than a maxed out F-16. When you add in external hard points, the F-35 more than doubles the payload of an F-16.
This seems like a very minor problem. I think the backup tanks are pressurized O2, not LOX, since LOX should need to be cooled. Pressurized oxygen is delivered to hospitals and clinics every day. I have an O2 tank in my research lab.
Jumping out of the window of a rolling car is something only a really dumb amateur would try. Hammond is far too experienced and well coached than to try something like that. That’s a good way to lose your head. I’m sure he waited for the car to stop rolling and then exited as quickly as possible.
How about the Navy patrolling the Mandeb Strait just in the last year? They were fired upon multiple times from Houthi rebels.
You didn’t look very hard. Here’s just one example:
I was making a semi-tongue-in-cheek statement about the futility of these specific advances against this SOF camp.
