So you agree with Rand Paul (who just called this airstrike unconstitutional) or Marco Rubio (who said Assad deserved what he got)?

Yeah and guess what? Paul Ryan was wrong. So was Fox News. Obama should have hammered Assad before Russia stepped in.
Sure, but just accepting refugees is like using a tourniquet when you should call an ambulance.
I remember when Thomas Jefferson sent a fleet to defend against the Barbary pirates before he was authorized to do so by Congress. The President doesn’t have to get congressional approval for limited military action.
He should never have gone to Congress. He has the authority to use limited force without congressional approval.
Graham, McCain, and Rubio have been calling for this since we learned about this chemical weapon attack. I’m willing to bet they would have approved regardless of who was president.
Today Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump agreed on the same action. I’m willing to believe that this was bigger than D vs R back in Washington.
As much as I don’t like Trump, I’m willing to admit that perspectives tend to change a bit once you sit behind the Resolute desk.
If you were a janitor at a remote airbase and watched as they loaded sarin canister bombs onto attack aircraft, what would you think?
Hot take: maybe the evil, hateful Republicans wanted to send a message to the guy who just gassed a bunch of kids.
I’m not opposed to refugees, but the only way to truly solve the refugee problem is to strike at the source of the problem...Assad’s attacks against his own people.
Because chemical weapons have basically no tactical purpose. In the modern world they serve only as a terror weapon. And Assad used them against his own people. It’s a war crime by every definition.
CNN is reporting that Russian advisers were at the Syrian airbase when the sarin airstrikes were launched. If that’s true, the Russians have some explaining to do.
Those bombs were dropped on ISIS, not Assad and his thugs. Nice try though.
50+ Tomahawks with 1000 pounds of ordinance on each one. I don’t think there’s much left of that small airbase.
Until you miss the pooled up water...
I think it’s from an old Super Bowl commercial.
Definitely should have been done with a pellet gun.
This is poor gun safety to say the least. A much safer way would be to fire a high powered pellet gun from up in the stands, so the projectile lands somewhere around the track and is small and light enough that it wouldn’t hurt anything.
It’s not that unusual for people to carry firearms in their car. Especially if they have a concealed carry license.
