I don’t know. But I think it’s going to be difficult to come to any conclusions without additional evidence. If she can’t remember any details about the house or date or other witnesses, it makes it very difficult to verify any of the details she provides. It’s a difficult situation all around.

Like I said, I don’t think a more conservative SCOTUS would overturn Roe. I think they’re much more likely to hear cases that would overturn the third trimester limit imposed by Roe. Most modern democracies actually have a 12ish week limit and some kind of waiting period.

I think the question, which Roe attempted to address, is how does bodily autonomy balance against the potential life of the fetus. Blackmun specifically ruled that abortion is not an unlimited right.

This is all firmly established though. It doesn’t matter if he tries to pardon himself or not, the House can still vote to start the articles of impeachment.
