Hi, I used to work on PEM-fuel cell h2-based cars (the control systems). The safety system here’s actually pretty good - hydrogen goes up if there’s a leak, and it burns as it goes up. Better than gasoline that stays on the ground and spreads around. There’s some debate on the Hindenburg (https://en.wikipedia.org/wi

It kept the Soviets from colonizing West Germany and Austria.

You don’t have to empathize with them. However, at some point, after losing close to 3/4 of state governorships to the GOP and losing the national Electoral College to a complete buffoon, the Democratic Party needs to do something for Middle America beyond more of the same. The fact is, we need this region’s votes

I’ll try to explain this in very simple terms.

Also, I never really see an issue with really smart people getting together to think up solutions.

HamNo’s argument is completely inane. It assumes that trying to fix the politics of poverty and the technology of poverty are somehow mutually exclusive. They’re not! Obama is in the last months of his presidency, with a Republican congress. He can’t change the politics of poverty in those few months he’s got left.

It is now.

Gosh, if only there were historical examples of how radical government-administered redistribution impacted an economy and the people living within it.

So they may or may not come up with solutions, but I am not convinced by your argument that tech people thinking of unique solutions to poverty is a bad endeavor.

Which is to say: it is a political problem

So your argument here is that the 2nd Amendement to the US Constitution and North Carolina’s open cary laws legally allow for a gun to be holstered to ones body.... but never be held? That actually holding a gun in an open cary state in the United States is illegal? That’s new to me. I’ve never seen anyone load or

Ah so they can be shot? Great plan.

Never in your hand in public, that’s called brandishing and will get you shot. One never cleans their firearm in public, that is also brandishing, and stupid.

I imagine because their job is to protect the public, which is a different job from a soldier. If a police officer thinks someone is about to hurt someone else, it’s their job to stop it. If someone points a gun at my kid, and a police officer is there and waits until my kid is shot in order to shoot back, I’m going

The investigation and video itself? He was observed rolling marijuana with a gun in his lap. I don’t think marijuana should be a crime, but it is, so he is clearly not “innocent.” The police are justified to approach a man who is rolling a marijuana cigarette in their plain view. In fact, the police specifically

They can shoot you if you hold a gun in your hand and continue to refuse orders from a cop to drop the gun. Yes, then they can shoot you. If they weren’t allowed to shoot you then, they’d have to wait until the cilvilian starts shooting at them. Nobody would do this job under the premise of serving as target practice
