He is a good pick, now. I think we all just long for the time of the distant early 90s when it was uncommon (and even frowned upon) for former high ranking military to immediately take up gigs pushing contractor wares after leaving the service.

That’s exactly why this clown is trashing mad dog.

I’m on the fuck trump train as much as anyone. He beat someone who’s - at best - slightly less terrible. He won fair and square by negative 2 million+ votes. Fitting outcome for that shit show.

Let’s move on already. Mattis is solid for this role. Semper Fi.

Unless there is additional information not presented here, you seem to be jumping to conclusions. What makes you think General Mattis is still in their corner? As you correctly pointed out, a lot of people were taken in by the promises of Theranos, but that doesn’t mean that he would still be on their side after it

Careful when talkin shit about Mad Dog...

Hi, I used to work on PEM-fuel cell h2-based cars (the control systems). The safety system here’s actually pretty good - hydrogen goes up if there’s a leak, and it burns as it goes up. Better than gasoline that stays on the ground and spreads around. There’s some debate on the Hindenburg (https://en.wikipedia.org/wi

Two guys and a Truck need to up their game or they’re going to get left on the curb by all these “One guy and a bike” startups.

The Lando System?

the three scripts I’ve read so far are many times more amazing than the first one

It kept the Soviets from colonizing West Germany and Austria.

Kerosene (highly refined; classified as RP-1 fuel to limit coking in the various pumps, tubing and combustion chamber of the rocket) is a pretty common rocket fuel.

This this this. It’s called being an adult. People on both sides should try it from time to time.

So it came apart a little too soon?

First, everyone does this. Obama and Clinton both talked about how Trump wasn’t fit to be President, and once Clinton lost, they take a more reconcilitory tone, and Obama says he hopes he can work with Trump during the transition. Heck, Obama said all the reasons Hilary shouldn’t be president when he ran against her,

perhaps one individual’s experience isn’t enough to represent the spectrum of experiences?

You don’t have to empathize with them. However, at some point, after losing close to 3/4 of state governorships to the GOP and losing the national Electoral College to a complete buffoon, the Democratic Party needs to do something for Middle America beyond more of the same. The fact is, we need this region’s votes

I’ll try to explain this in very simple terms.

Also, I never really see an issue with really smart people getting together to think up solutions.

HamNo’s argument is completely inane. It assumes that trying to fix the politics of poverty and the technology of poverty are somehow mutually exclusive. They’re not! Obama is in the last months of his presidency, with a Republican congress. He can’t change the politics of poverty in those few months he’s got left.

It is now.

Gosh, if only there were historical examples of how radical government-administered redistribution impacted an economy and the people living within it.
