I’m not sure it’s worth it to try and explain your post. LUNCH BOX is not grasping your very factual and very pragmatic point. The wells are pumping oil and gas from the Bakken formation. That oil and gas requires transportation. The most environmentally conscious method of transportation is a pipeline.

JD makes a lot of maintenance intentionally difficult (and software issues impossible to fix) unless you call a JD mechanic.

Yes! I was working in BFE, Mississippi in a brand new 9510R scraper tractor, and I started running into a software problem with exhaust sensors. The rep they sent to check it out told me they didn’t make a 9510R, and didn’t believe me until he saw it. He had no clue what he was doing and it didn’t get fixed for days.

I think the boilers run on super cheap and dirty bunker crude. Basically the residual distillate left over after refining.

I won’t go that far. But the air assets of a carrier group combined with the offensive capability of surface escorts would make quick work of a Kirov (not to mention any SSNs that are lurking about).

Your comparison is not really useful, considering offensive ordinance is hardly the only factor in an engagement. If a Kirov decided to fire on a US carrier, I don’t think it would be floating for much longer.

70 Arleigh-Burke destroyers > 4 Kirov battle cruisers.

Not unless they want to destroy their own economy.

Fareed Zakaria had an interesting take on the phone call. Priebus’s previous correspondence with Taiwan indicates that it might actually be a strategy, which would seek to gain leverage against China via open relations with Taiwan.

That’s 3 people. I don’t think that qualifies as a rally.

Like I said, hyperbole. Nobody gave the Nazi salute to Trump. His supporters aren’t goose stepping in the streets. I didn’t vote for him, but I’m it gonna be hysterical for four years because he won. Grow up.

Hyperbole much?

I don’t think they would let the Russians even get near their borders. To them, an encroaching Russian presence is an existential crisis.

The Budapest Memorandum never had any teeth, and it was never meant to be a binding treaty. Besides Russia already violated it in Crimea.

It probably depends on how close they get to Poland. The Poles aren’t gonna play games if the Russians get anywhere near their border. And if the Poles get involved, NATO likely would as well. Article 5 only holds for NATO members who are attacked, so it’s doubtful if NATO action would be in response it A5.

I’m involved in TBI research, I totally understand how loud commands would be confusing. But on that same premise he probably wasn’t in a condition to carry a gun safely.

As someone from a red state, open carry only allows you to carry a visible firearm secured in a holster. If you’re arguing with someone and even try to reach for it, that’s a terrible idea. People that open carry, conceal carry, or carry in their cars are expected to alert police that they’re carrying a firearm (if

If the other party has a gun with lead bullets, cops aren’t gonna use rubber bullets. And I don’t blame them.

The Sabin polio vaccine was developed with Cuban help, and there weren’t any problems with its use in the US.
