I know several former Naval Aviators who went to work at airlines after leaving the service that left it within five years to work for defense contractors for the same pay because the schedules and general working conditions sucked so bad.

They’ll need a Cooper to build barrels to hold all of the old tire carcasses. But Generally I don't like these pun threads.

Rosberg cooked his options by locking up on the first lap in Russia last year. Pitted after that lap and ran the rest of the race on the primes. Making it from last to 2nd in the process.

Once he knows all is lost he takes his hands off the wheel, as expected, but then just before impact self-preservation kicks in and he brings them up to his face.

Not to mention the guy standing right in front of the camera (holding what was probably the correct tire) who seemed to know that they screwed up.

As a draftsman working for a defense contractor at Pax River it was my privilege to pour through the schematics for the F-14 to find which pin on the pylon connector went to the pickle switch on the joystick when they were adding ground attack to the TACTS Pod.

Not impossible, but highly unlikely. Bottas more so than Hulk since Williams seems to have Bottas locked up pretty well.

While I think it’s unlikely...

So what you're saying is that he backed into my second favorite car of all time with my favorite car of all time?

The part about the crews carving their initials into various surfaces in the cockpit is kinda interesting. Almost sounds like people took flying a prototype that became workhorse as a privilege.

Sorry you had the one stolen. Damn things are treacherous but a complete blast. A friend of mine got a 250r when they first came out. First time I ever saw a kickstarter that went forward.

I had a 110 in high school. No helmet and an aparent lack of shirts.

I didn’t watch the video at first then after reading this comment I felt compelled to in order to get the context.

I like this one better.

Yea the two-tone would’ve had to be painted but going from 40 year old memory the stickers my sisters used ranged from 3” to at least a foot in diameter.

Nope, “Flower Power” stickers where very popular and my sisters put them all over my brothers Corvair when he left it at our house when he was stationed in Thailand in ‘71.

But he just couldn't hold it any longer.

Can't believe I had to scroll this far for someone to call out the vertical video.

Damn. My V6 Dakota is right about 178,000.

The stero is the least objectionable part of this bike!
