I agree with you, but I don’t think your ‘pro tip’ quite hits the mark. I usually drop at least a $20 on holiday boxes (though after the rooster boxes I may stop, but thats another issue), however I would also totally afk for xp.

About 28 lootboxes during the event for me. 3 legendaries - 2 were regular legendaries that you can purchase for 1k gold or whatever the points are called, and 1 year of the rooster legendary skin. 1 special legendary skin out of 28 boxes. I don’t play 3v3, but it really slowed down almost every snowball battle game near the end of the winter event. I started reporting everyone I saw doing it, but eventually there was just too many people to report so I stopped.

I hate reading about these kinds of internet success stories because I’m a bitter person. Takes all kinds I guess.
