Maybe I'm wrong here, and so I'd love any input from someone who works as a manager at either a GameStop or maybe a smaller game store, but I'm pretty sure the markup on new games is WAY less than $15.

@iconstyle: Well in all fairness, the Metroid series hasn't been a "Japanese" game since the SNES days.

@Archaotic: Depends on where you preordered it. The GameStops in my area tend to differ on medium-profile releases. Officially, ship date is listed at Tuesday, so they won't get it until Wednesday. BUT some stores have stuff in on the afternoon of the ship date. I tend to avoid pre-ordering these medium profile

I was JUST talking about this stuff during a Friday morning office cereal nostalgia rant.

@Michael Dukakis: Perhaps, but I was able to forecast my cash flow early on so I'm in the clear.

@Destati: That was quite the deluge of puns there. I suppose we should all hail your use of the English language, weather or not we agree with it.

Our long pan-national nightmare about the long wait for Hello Kitty: Birthday Adventures is finally almost over!

@Vescosein: ...except it's not just pirates complaining. What if I buy the game and my internet connection goes out due to a storm (like what happened in last weeks blizzard)? Because of a dumb DRM policy, I'm left with a useless collection of data that I paid for yet cannot access.

@Gravidos: And a lot of people also hate it or at the best have a tepid reaction towards it.

@Eran: Eh, Bioshock 2 spoiled itself by being absolutely boring as hell for the first 3/4 of the game. Waiting until the last 2 hours of a game until you finally give the player some sort of motivation to play? Not very good game design.

@Michael Dukakis: Well keep up that conquest and these games are a goner.

@RockyRan: I kind of enjoy the Japanese ME1 box art even more. It just says so much more by not saying it, if that makes sense.

"Yeah use your legs...while you still got 'em!" -words of caution I got today from a homeless dude who, it should be noted, HAD LEGS.

I love how the ending sounds more like a threat than a promise.

@Aki: Ouch dude. Double low blow.

@Archaotic: I know that's what he said, but anything Versus related I'm starting to approach with the same mentality I use towards urban legends...I'll believe it when I see it.
