@mintycrys is HOT for Bayonetta: Versus has been in development for awhile now. And not just dicking around style development, like actual "let's eventually release the game" development. SE has just been super secretive about it for some reason. Hopefully we'll see some more actual gameplay footage at some point

@Yossarian: Amen. I loved going around in Crackdown and being like "ooooh, I can't climb that building just yet...wait till I get more agility spheres though!" It added an RPG element to exploration, which was awesome.

@Setzer IIDX: It's weird. Prototype did do a lot of the gameplay elements better. I guess that's the benefit of Prototype being released two full years later. But Prototype also bored the hell out of me halfway through, to the point where I honestly felt like I was doing chores playing it. I still can't really

Ok so I just got an iPod Touch...any game suggestions?

@fauxbravo: If you're looking for pure replay-value, then go with Bayonetta. Dante's Inferno was fun, but I beat it in about 5 hours and there's really no reason to play through again.

Said this when it popped up in #speakup, but this ad is horrible. Like, it's utterly baffling to me. Square's marketing department has really been shitting out onions lately.

@Shinta: I hope it's directed by Darren Aronofsky. Oooooo wait, what if it can also be a Requiem For a Dream reboot??? Mario and Luigi start buying pure heroin and cutting it to make a profit, while Peach starts going all ass-to-ass and Toad starts taking methamphetamines to fit into his old mushroom hat so he'll

@bakagaijin: It's actually been pretty much nonstop for me since about October for me. Every two to three weeks, something awesome (or at least worth playing) has been released. October had Borderlands, Demon's Souls, and Half-Minute Hero. November had Dragon Age, MW2, NSMB Wii, Assassin's Creed II, and L4D2.

There's just a special feeling I get when I see "This Was Love Week on Kotaku" and "Fondle A Human Spine in Aliens vs. Predator Multiplayer" together at last on my RSS reader.

@bakagaijin: My first flight to Asia ever was a non-stop from JFK to Hong Kong. I was in business class though (thanks Dad connections!) so it was great. However, this time I thought having the middle seat in economy on such a long flight would have been hell, but for some reason it wasn't as bad as I had feared (at

@Neo Deus: Hahaha I just went there and for some reason, my favorite is this one:

@kyosen: Hahaha the edit makes it.

@Heinleiner: Among other issues, the PS3 version has framerate issues, longer load times, and an overall poorer graphical presentation. You can do a search for it if you want more details, but that's it in a nutshell. If you have both consoles and want the game, then you'd do well to get the 360 version.

@Hey_Blinkon: One time I was on a flight from Detroit to Tokyo and I was sitting in a middle seat next to a dude who had this huge scab on his arm, and it was just randomly oozing blood everywhere. The entire time. So yeah, huge people may not be the top of the pops, but it could always be way worse.

So I picked up Bioshock 2 the other day, and for some reason or another it just can't hold my attention. I put it down for a day to start another ME2 playthrough. Now, when faced with the weekend, I thought it would be the perfect time to finish it off. But then I found myself picking up Dante's Inferno instead.

@DonataNoodle: I tried. I really, really tried. Left my house at 6, with the intention of driving to the Ballston metro stop since it was the closest station open. Well...me and the rest of Northern Virginia. After 2.5 hours I was still about 8 miles away in stopped dead traffic. A friend called and said the

@DonataNoodle: Ha yeah, DC Metro area, Fairfax County VA. Above ground Orange line trains aren't running. Tomorrow's gonna be...interesting.

@spannu: What you don't realize is I AM SIX HUNDRED YEARS OLD. When I was YOUR age, I had to take a goddamn leaky ship from London to Jamestown just to get to work six months later. And if I didn't die of dysentery or get impressed into the damn British navy on the way there, I had to deal with Indians and Roanoke

So after almost a week off from work, my office is finally open tomorrow and I'm expected to be there. The only problem...none of the buses in my area are running, and the nearest Metro stop that will be open is halfway to work. So...basically...I'm fucked.

Ok so I'm just throwing this out there, but has anyone asked 2K if they would kindly add gamepad support? Sometimes, it's all in how you phrase the question...
