@SeattleTed: Wooaaaah, hey there innocuous-comment-setting-off-bottled-up-yet-unjustified-under-the-current-situation-rant.

Still waiting for a phonograph cylinder release.

@raresquare: More or less, yeah. The entire team behind Bioshock didn't come back for Bioshock 2, but those that did are the ones who made the SP. The MP was handled by a completely different developer.

@raresquare: Yeah for the entirety of this game's marketing and promotion phase of life, I was extremely disinterested. Which was weird, because I loved the first one. But even out of the gates it seemed stale, unnecessary, and uninteresting. However, even when faced with that general apathy towards it, I found

@shwing: Good point. There's really no way to beat it, despite what someone in trade chat may claim. I wouldn't count progression as replay, but I'd definitely count all the days spent on endgame dungeons you've had on farm status.

@LucasReis: Oh man, this is a tough one. Okay I'm just gonna shoot from the dick here without thinking too much, let's see what happens.

@shwing: As much as I hate to admit it now, if we're talking purely by numbers then I have to go with WoW. I haven't played in about half a year, but I had been playing since release and when I do /played on all of my characters it's mildly depressing to think of all that time lost.

@unwesen: Well 720p is technically HD, so not sure where you're going with that. Additionally, most games for 360 and PS3 don't run in 1080, they run in 720 or below. Also, 1080p on any size TV under 32" is more or less pointless, as the difference is unnoticeable.

Awesome, I've always wanted to be Anderson Cooper.

@mespme: Oh, I'll definitely get behind wanting more info. You're right, there hasn't been much actual gameplay coverage (I think just a few screenshots). All three XIII games were supposed to be released relatively close to each other. However, now I'll be surprised if Versus even comes out at all this year, and

@mespme: I'll agree with more Chrono Trigger, but what's with the Versus hate? I'm actually more interested in Versus than I am XIII.

@Nazzie: Yeah, Legion was the big one for me. They should have just not even mentioned him at all in the lead up to release because his very existence kind of completely changes the nature of the Geth. That moment when he first appears should have elicited an "oh SHIT" reaction, not a "oh hey, there he is" one.

Now playing

For those getting ass-tickled by all the snow on the east coast, hopefully this helps you feel better. Cause I love this guy.

@UERD: Oh yeah, the AI is MUCH better than in ME1. Hell, I don't even think I noticed my squadmates in ME1, I was just a one-man army. They were just kinda always "there," but not being useful.

@Michael Dukakis: Haha I know, it's great. The park is nice, although it lacks that certain slummy charm that RFK had. But I usually forget about that when I eat food that's palatable and don't have to deal with the lingering scent of human urine everywhere.

@Win Laik Pya: Yeah, there's definitely a pretty big challenge jump from hardcore to insanity that I'm noticing. I'm also doing Sentinel, and the shield is a damn life saver. Like I said above, most of it just comes down to endurance...you'll literally fight a battle for 10-15 minutes and after like 4 waves and

Quick hit thought: Anyone else think that BioWare revealed a little bit TOO much in promotion of ME2? I know, maybe it's my fault for watching dev diaries, but even the various profile vids and such, in retrospect, revealed a good chunk of the game. Considering that ME2 (by design, not fault) seems overall light on
