@Win Laik Pya: I never really used Medi-gel until this Insanity playthrough (prior one was on Hardcore), but I need to mostly to revive squadmates who have needlessly gotten themselves capped in the brain.

@Michael Dukakis: Amen dude. Every year around this time I start thinking about joining a fantasy baseball league. Then I realize that it would be pretty much a full time job and decide not to. Then I end up regretting the decision for the entire season. It's a brutal cycle, similar to the…
@arbsnotdead: You're lucky there's a 5 foot wall of snow behind my car, or I'd run you over with it out of jealousy.
So, I'm replaying ME2 and decided to take a crack at Insanity difficulty. Holy crap, that shit is no joke! Insanity on ME1 was a cakewalk, but this is an actual challenge. I like it. Kind of reminds me of Demon's Souls in that you feel a genuine sense of accomplishment after each mission. I find that the…
@vitiumcloud: Dude, I could not agree more. I live in Fairfax, work in DC. I need goddamn ice climbing gear to get out of my house. I'm also in a weird position cause I work for a government contractor at a government site, so since the federal government has been closed today and tomorrow I kinda have the day off.…
@Shinta: IGN's editorial content has been taking a nose dive into Shitropolis for awhile now. I'll read their reviews just because they always seem to be the first ones up, but I won't dare make a decision based off of them. They also seem to have the best collection of videos on games before they're released, so…
@bleepsndrums: True, it's not like it's the first time it has been in an RPG. And I was mainly curious, because I've heard reviews bitch about it but nobody really defend or explain it. And luckily, the dependable as always Kotaku community stepped up and answered my question. Thanks kids! Shots of Jager all…
@Shinta: No time for ME2? MAKE TIME. Hell, I broke up with my girlfriend.
@bakagaijin: I did play FFXI for quite some time. But that was an aspect about it that I absolutely hated. Although hearing that the mob won't chase you all the way across the goddamn map I guess makes it suck a little less.
@Shinta: Yeah I heard about that too. I dunno. I was always on the fence about this one and wasn't really emotionally invested, so if it turns out (as most reviews seem to indicate) that it's a total turd ball then I won't spend the evening crying into my limited edition Dark Cloud underoos. But it still might be a…
One thing this review didn't really mention that I've seen other reviews dog this game on is the apparent absolutely dumb ranged/non-ranged aspect of combat. By that I mean (and this is all from other reviews) how range affects your attacks against an enemy, however it does not matter for enemy attacks against you. …
@Paul Usoro: I'd love that, but I don't see it happening for awhile. I think it is a possibility for sometime in the future, but first of all I don't see them even trying it until they wrap up the trilogy. Second, I doubt they'd release an MMO that would in theory compete with TOR. It just doesn't make sense from a…
@diannevan: How often do you ride public transportation? I take the Metro in Washington DC everyday and consistently see double digits of people using Kindles or similar e-readers.
@Doomstalk: This has been my number one problem with the device. It doesn't really address any critical needs, nor does it vastly improve upon the components from which it draws its inspiration.
I think a more interesting thing to note is to look at what we're comparing it to. Several weeks ago, the general expectation was that Apple was working on a tablet computer with a wide range of functionality, not simply an e-reader. In all of the advance "mock ups" of what Apple's device was going to look like,…
@Baguette: That's not an option, my friend.
@Poul Wrist: Looking at that list, I couldn't help but notice SNOOD on there. So, if 2001 has any say, your point is completely irrelevant!
Dude, Rebellion has been keeping it REAL lately. First the Australia response, and now this. I haven't really made up my mind on how I feel about AvP, but I respect the hell out of them for saying what is on every gamer's mind, regardless of how those comments relate to the business side of the industry.
@Michael Dukakis: I went with the JJ model, as it comes with 90% more lens flare.
@ThirzaLepidus: Uh, lots of people wear watches. I take a packed bus and train to work everyday, and if I want to take my phone out to check the time I'd have to reach into my pocket and more than likely grab someone's asshole by mistake.
