The investigation of season 2 is my favourite arc of the series; but it should have led to SOMETHING in the next seasons. Deb and Batista should have began to suspect of Dexter, leading to some epic confrontations during the last seasons.

Rita's death was probably the best moment of the whole series, so I think that the problem is not the death by itself, but that the writers weren't able to face its consequences in the next seasons. This act should have led Dexter to start losing his control and begin to face all his inner demons, losing his humanity

The show had so much potential to have an epic end, with Dexter confronting
the consequences of all his killings and the Deb discovery of the truth. Sadly, the
writers weren’t able to convey the drama adequately and had a final season with
absolutely no sense.

Season 4 is usually very criticized, but I don’t think that is a letdown; actually, it has some of the best moments of the show (Nate burying Lisa, ¡Let’s burn it all!, David’s kidnapping, THAT final scene between David and Nathaniel).

Hmmm, I don't feel the same about the Lisa’s death closure. That scene between Hoyt and Nate is one of the tensest scenes of the series and it captures brilliantly the fears that Nate had about Lisa killing herself because of his
fault. All the whole thing about not knowing the cause of his death and Nate incapable of

Well, I believe that the final candidates are the ones that were touched by Jacob and marked as the chosen ones to replace him. The rest where all of the options that he thought of, but finally he chose this six persons, because they where ‘flawed and needed this island as much as the island needed them’.

Yeah, the writers are constantly showing Phillip and Elizabeth doing horrible things, but the extraordinarily interpretations of both actors and their excellent characterization makes the audience root for them. The
same happens in Breaking Bad, where despite all the bad things that Walter White does, we end up liking

Yeah, what i meant is that Ben's mom body wasn't in the island, so Smokey couldn't take his form. Remember that she died outside of the island.

Hmmm, I know that his name was written in the cave, but I believe that the final candidates are the ones that belong to the 4 8 15 16 23 42 equation:

I absolute can't believe that Juliet is not in your ranking.

My mother has recently finished Lost and he was a huge fan of the flash side part. In my case, I found that there were lots of awesome character moments and great call-back to previews seasons; characters as Locke or Sayid wouldn’t have had the appropriate closure without this device. I also believe that the idea of

Yeah, I love this reviews because they bring back all those discussion between Lost fans that where SO fun.

My particular ''sexy Lost ranking''= Kate> Juliet > Claire > Nikki

Ben's Mom didn't die in the island, so Smokey couldn't take his form.

There's no indication that MIB can transform in animals; in season 6 it's revealed that he can take the form of the dead bodies that are in the island, but at any moment is implied that he uses animals bodies.

I think that the show was at its best when it was able to combine a good
character story/development with the revelation of mysteries. The end of Walkabout is a perfect example: the emotion of seeing Locke walking up and looking so happy in the middle of all the chaos of the accident is combined with the revelation

The on-island parts of season 6 where really good; they were able to answer most of the remaining questions while providing some damn good action. The problem was the flashsides, which mystery was resolved clumsily and had too much importance in the final episodes.

Yeah, I feel the same. The Other's plans and Ben’s motives where such a mystery during the first two season, whereas the revelation that it was all a plan to manipulate Jack to operate Ben resulted so dumb; instead of all the murders and lies, Ben could just have gone to Jack from Day 1 and ask him gently to operate

At this point, I think that my favorite episodes would be Exodus, Pilot and Walkabout. If I had to chose between one of them, i suppose that I would stay with Walkabout.

Yeah, I know that. I suppose that my question should be: Where the fuck is the closure to Kimmy's plot during this season?
