NBC’s hyper-jingoism and constant “US as the underdog” coverage (even though we are the favorite in 70% of the events) makes me actively root against the US in every event.

My favorite is when women who read Jezebel every single day get super pearl clutchy when learning that one of their friends reads xoJane everyday, because she would never read such a trashy rag, like aren’t we all feminists over here? (and vice versa).

I lol’d. Because, you know, San Antonio is so cosmopolitan.

I LOVE this little cafe down the street from my house. It’s so cute and independent and I want desperately for them to succeed, so the first few times I came by and they were sold out of TWO of my favorite items I was actually glad. Haha it's so upsetting! Or like when your favorite place is inexplicably closed. I was back in Chicago for like 5 days and my whole family was going to my FAVORITE brunch place.
