Nathan J. Robinson predicted it and reading it now it’s eerie. People are acting as if it’s surprising but it was avoidable and he was right.

The fact you mention the much more interesting Blair Adams case, a case that is mostly just known to hard core fans of Unsolved Mysteries (a la Kurt Sova) or similiar mystery cases but is nowhere near as famous as this, kind of proves it’s because it was a rich white girl.
