It’s puzzling that so many people are angrier at Hillary than at the man actually accused of rape. And that includes the alleged victim.

It’s puzzling to me how many people are acting like this is new information. Or like Hilary Clinton is somehow more responsible for Bill Clinton’s behavior than Bill Clinton is.
That’s a bit extreme but I’ll be okay with a law that bans Vegans from condescendingly telling me why they think they’re better than me.
Thanks for admitting to the world that you can’t read.
I like all those alternative choices, but even Al Frankin will tell you that Kaine is more highly qualified for the job than any of them. With enough executive and foreign policy experience to step into the presidency itself, if, god forbid. And not that a whole lot of folks watch the VP debates, but he’s totally…
I truly wanted franken. It’s sad
I don’t know. He was a fair housing lawyer for two decades. He is, by all accounts, deeply religious, but believes that personal beliefs should stay out of politics. Played a big part in turning Red Virginia purple. Rescinded his support for abstinence education b/c all evidence pointed towards it being ineffective.…
I didn’t want to write an essay, but there are just so many more VP candidates who not only possess more liberal ideals than Kaine, but also reflects the changing face of America (Rep Ellison, Al Franken, Elizabeth Warren, Raul Grijalva, come to mind).
How much for that sandwich?
I’m hopeful that when Clinton gets the chance to stock her cabinet and upper-level positions, she’ll make some interesting and diverse choices. She’s already committed to make 50% of her cabinet women, so I think we’re headed in the right direction.
Like dress up day at Gawker Media.
I have no problem with people—white or otherwise—doing work like this. What I do hate (and something I saw a lot when I lived in Cape Town for 5 months) is when people take pictures with children and then post them on the internet. I only shared images of kids whose names I knew and who I actually developed…
I wouldn’t be totally shocked if her parents were the ones who put this in her head. Mommy and Daddy were embarrassed that their legacy didn’t hold enough sway with the Admissions Office to get her in so “blame the coloreds” and don’t let her think she didn’t get in because their alumnus checks weren’t big enough.
IT is unutterably sad to me that her parents did not sit her down and make her realize that she did not get in to the college of her choice because she did not earn it. Bottom line. These upper middle class parents need to get real with their offspring: race and money can only get you so far. Granted, it will get you…
I hadn’t seen this comment from Fisher before:
So you couldn’t wait a smooth, what, 15 minutes? Word?! Okay, girl....
Why did you ask this here? Sort of deviates from the topic of this post which deserves direct commentary. But you hijacked the conversation immediately.
Yeah, it’s Jez’s fault for posting something important for many people before they could post something you feel is more importance. (meanwhile modelling the very behavior that this post is referring to.)
So Jez (and everyone here) has to cater to you and talk about the stuff you want, whenever you want? It’s not like you didn’t know there was going to be a post on the SCOTUS decision sometime today, but fuck everybody who wanted to talk about Jesse’s super important speech on Black liberation, because the SCOTUS one…
I’m just cutting and pasting PussycatisuponCurrentEvents post, because I think you should read it again. And again and again, as necessary for it to sink in.
