WOW. Did you even read this article? Did you take two minutes to read his speech? Did you stop and think for a second that this is also worth celebrating? You’re being EXACTLY the type of person WOC complain of when we say we feel forced to choose whether we’re people of color or women, as if the two are at odds.

#FeminismIsForWhiteWomenOnly

This post was about how white people constantly derail/appropriate/completely fucking miss the point of black liberation politics and the comments section has become a brilliant example of it.

Who the hell are you to tell a biracial woman what she should be concerned about? Like really....who the hell are you?

Saying “calm down” to someone pointing out a pretty clear example of White Feminism is not okay.

“If you have critique for the resistance, of our resistance, then you better have an established record of critique of our oppression,” he says. “If you have no interest in equal rights for black people, then do not make suggestions for those who do. Sit down.”

This is one of the most tone deaf and condescending responses I’ve ever read on this site. And that’s saying a lot.

Number one, I’m calm. Just annoyed.

DAMN that was powerful. Got chills. Also, on a far less important note: 10/10 would bang.

JFC. I love how completely this post has managed to exhibit Jesse’s point about equality.

“She would be alive is she hadn’t acted so ...free.”

“many people view HRC as only slightly left of the GOP”
These “people” clearly have not spent a lot of time looking at the two parties or the candidates.

You think fairness has anything to do with what I’m talking about?

Britain outlawed slavery-in 1833.

It’s the democratic primary, not the general election - it is supposed to be restrictive, Democratic Party members are electing the candidate to represent them. I’m registered independent so I couldn’t vote in this and it annoyed me but I accepted it because if i wanted to vote in a party’s primary I should have

“Let the voters decide! This is not an anointment! Superdelegates shouldn’t matter.”

I will never be a Clinton fan and I voted for Bernie in the state primary. That said, Bernie,

Agree. I feel like calling Carter’s editorial “bad” and “awful” is a gross simplification of a complex issue. While I don’t necessarily agree with Jimmy, there are a fair amount of feminists and organizations that do.

Wait, which one of the four people you mentioned is supposed to be “not hot” because they all seem very traditionally attractive to me.

Uh, is Fassbender the ugly one in the last pairing, because Nicole is beautiful.
