I had to deal with the “cop attitude” in an event that I volunteered with for many years. Their unearned superiority complex makes them think no one else is worth anything. Absolutely disgusting.

For what it’s worth, here’s my advice.

This is a good point, we obviously need a 28th amendment protecting our right to bear chips. You are just dead wrong on the 914. For it’s day, it was a reasonably quick car with superb handling, albeit with a Porsche price tag (you paid for the superb build quality). The 914 not a good performance car becuase its 0-60 time and top speed? Seriously? Jalopnik once was a car enthusiasts site. I can see those days are gone.

Remember that the Porsche 914 was created to be, and was sold in Europe as, a Volkswagen, somewhat like a latter day Karman Ghia.  In the U.S. buyers would not pay its price point for a Volkswagen-branded car, so it was sold as a Porsche.
