I had a 2000 Dodge Neon, 20 years ago. sure, it lost some of it cute quirkyness and it was a bit unrefined. But, even my non-souped-up 132hp w/5MT was fun to throw around.

First generation is great. I did always like the third and fourth generation side profile though. Mostly it was the rear side window that appealed to me as a school kid in the 1970s.
I adore my 2023 Impreza Premium. Yes, it only has the 2.0L engine, the 6.5" infotainment screen and the CVT.
