Also Carcetti in The Wire.
Also Carcetti in The Wire.
I’ll always remember him as the bad guy in the Eddie Murphy “classic” The Golden Child.
Holy Shit. I rewatched this not too long ago and didn’t make the connection.
I remember hearing about this back in 2002 well before SWG launched. I thought it was a great idea to have Jedi be in the game but also be able to be faithful to the fact that Jedi were virtually extinct during this time period. I was disappointed when Jedi permadeath never materialized. Still, despite it’s many flaws…
It’s probably the best show on TV these days. This was definitely a stronger first season than Breaking Bad had. The writing, directing, the cast have been killing it every episode. I think I would have to go back as far as The Wire to find a better crafted first season. Maybe Game of Thrones. Better Call Saul season…
There’s definitely been a downward trajectory but COD is still a huge cash cow for Activision. Ghosts, which is an awful game, has sold around 19 million copies to date. Advanced Warfare was the top selling game of 2014. It may have peaked sales wise (and probably creatively as well) but that franchise is still…
2D Metroid for 3DS, please.
It helps that that Jimmy in an infinitely more likable character than Walter White. I love Breaking Bad and think Bryan Cranston was Brilliant but Walt was a garbage person.
Good. Maybe-Fake Aegon, Quentyn & Victorion were a large part of what made the last two books such a bore. I just wasn't invested in them at all and hope they're all killed off in the opening chapters of The Winds of Winter.
I was a sophomore in high school when I played FF7 for the first time. I really had a hard time processing Aeris/Aerith's death. I literally couldn't believe she was dead and was staying dead. I thought for sure Cloud and the gang would find a way to save her, bring her back somehow. But alas, it wasn't to be.
Nice List. Growing up I always preferred the Nightmare and Halloween movies over Friday the 13th. Recently, I rewatched the first three movies and they totally hold up better than most the films in those other two franchises. I wasn't expecting that.
Hey, something I tweeted sparked a Kotaku article. Neat! Kotaku needs more articles about Xenogears. Which, as we all know, is Squaresoft's greatest achievement during their PSX golden age.
You're remembering correctly. It's definitely in A Dance With Dragons.
The third wedding will probably be the marriage of Ramsay Bolton and "Arya Stark". With how much of the Dreadfort we've been seeing that would make a lot of sense.
To be fair to TF2, it's set in the 1950's. Not that realism is really relevant to TF2, but not having female mercenaries is pretty realistic for the 1950's...
Huge fan of this series. The original is the reason I got a Playstation in 1996. Played it, it's two PSOne sequels and REmake countless times but haven't touched either of them in the past ten years. Holy crap did I get my ass kicked playing this game on normal. Turns out, playing old school RE games isn't at all…
Currently playing Shadow of Mordor. I'm also about to give H1Z1 a whirl. After Mordor (nearly finished with it), I'll probably play Far Cry 4, Halo 2 or Resident Evil HD Remastered next.
This just makes me nostalgic for the winters parts of Bully.
Total w/ tax: about $511
I don't think Sarkeesian is too concerned with criticism. It's the rape and death threats that are the problem.
