Growing up, my parents never put restrictions on how much gaming I was allowed. Nor were there restrictions on the amount of TV I was allowed to watch. I turned out (relatively) fine. So I think if I had kids that's the direction I'd go for.

I never really cared for the single player experience in the SOCOM series (especially the 2nd SOCOM). It was always about playing the multiplayer with a group of friends. Those were some of the best times I've ever had playing a shooter online.
@RtFusion: I too am an inverted controls guy when it comes to console shooters. It just feels more natural for me.
This device is incredible. That man looks like he was never burned at all. Science is magic.
@stereobot: 100% agree with you, sir.
I've never had much fun playing fishing games. Then again I don't find the real thing to be much fun either. This device is a neat concept though. Make me wish there was an augmented reality proton pack so I could catch ghosts on the subway. Now that'd be fun.
I'm not too crazy about Harley's new look. It barely looks like her anymore. Super excited for this game though. AA was incredible.
Seeing as I bought the collector's edition featured in the image above, I'm definitely a physical goodies guy.
This could be fun. Though I have mixed feeling about these Lego games. I really enjoyed the Star Wars Lego games because that series' universe lends itself really well to a Lego setting. Not so much with some of the other games I've played.
You had me at free. Downloaded.
Well, I've been pronouncing it wrong this long so I think I'll just keep on muckin' it up. Hard Gs for the win!
Lately, it's been a lot of Alberta Cross, Modest Mouse, Belle & Sebastian with a bit of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Porcupine Tree and Bitter Ruin thrown in for good measure.
@wocalax: One of my favorite bands. They're always in rotation on my iPod.
@Chestnut Bowl: Being poor is terrible. I too will be passing on this game. At least for the time being. Replaying the first two games does sound like a brilliant idea.
1.1 trillion? That's a lot of digital ammunition.
The price isn't too bad I suppose. I still can't justify spending that kind of cash. It's a really neat statue though.
I'm not sure how much fun it'd be for the average gamer but I'd love to see games with a "minimalist" mode. I love playing games on harder difficulties so I say bring it on!
If Marky Mark is playing Nathan Drake then it really doesn't matter who plays Elena. The movie is going to be horrible. I like Mark Wahlberg when he's cast within his range. Nathan Drake seems to fall well outside of that range.
As impressed as I am with the specs for Sony's NGP, the mere rumor of a possible New Super Mario World wins me over completely. The original is my favorite Mario game and one of my favorite overall games ever. Make it happen, Nintendo.
Not surprised they're releasing a new fight stick with every new game. However, my SSFIV TE stick will suffice. Can't wait for MVC3 to come out though!
