I take some satisfaction in the thought that that was his idea of what it would be like to be president, and it wasn’t, and now he’s pinned in a spotlight the likes of which he’s never been in, and people who matter give a fuck about what he says, and he’s realized he fucked up big-time.

Yeah, I cannot believe that, within my lifetime, I’ve seen a president and an administration that are objectively worse than GWB...but here we are. I really thought that was one for the ages, and it hasn’t even been the worst in a decade.
