I stopped watching at the end of season three, as there’s a lot of casually racist jokes against Black folks that aren’t witty or self-aware and never get called out. I HATED the Tamra character (not the actress, as she was doing her best with poor material) and Mindy’s casual racism that should’ve gotten her lame ass…

This is why I prefer Curb Your Enthusiasm over Seinfeld, as everyone hates Larry and rightfully calls him for the asshole he is. At the same time, he’s often right, but just says it in the most impolite and aggressive way. Of course, Curb has massive amounts of freedom being on HBO, so it can’t be in line with boring…

The trailers make this come off as a “White People Nonsense” movie. Apparently, they have so little actual problems in their lives that they love creating them for a sense of drama. Poor Gina Gershon. I’ve always loved her and have always thought she’s deserved better than what Hollywood craps out to her. Sure, she’s not the best actress. But she always comes off as charming and magnetic, at least to me.

Come out to Napa! Hell, you don’t even have to do snotty ass Napa, I did Paso Robles this weekend, which is only a couple of hours north of L.A. and got some solid steals...though it was in the triple digits this weekend.

Lol, probably. I just get touchy when people act like fellow Southern Californians are “out of touch” when we grew up like this and its normal to us. It’s not our fault we have access to awesome food and set a lot of food trends.

I grew up with olive oil with bread thing at restaurants here. Admittedly, they’d also leave balsamic vinegar, salt and a pepper grinder on the table to add to the olive oil if you wanted. But people would definitely dip the bread in just olive oil with nothing else.
