I doubt they’d ever do it, but if Disney World simply closed their doors for a couple of months and sent out attractive PR reps to every news outlet in the country saying “we are so sorry but we cannot operate under the current Republican leadership, we will be closed for a short time and welcome proposals from other

I mean it’s pretty open-and-shut given that DeSantis said in a press conference that he was dissolving Reedy Creek as punishment, but as you said they’re going to slow burn this mofo for years. And I have plenty of popcorn.

Nah. I for one hope the media company successfully proves they were unfairly targeted by a government body for not producing content that fit his conservative preferences.

Have you been watching the national press? He’s having a bad time. Dude’s presidential ambitions are dead.

I mean, the only real evidence they needed was DeSantis openly admitting he was going to lift the safety inspection waiver for Disney while every other park in Florida was given a pass.

It’s okay to oppose government bodies when they target businesses for strictly cultural reasons.

I can tell you how it’s gonna go. It’s gonna go to the courts where it’ll get bogged down in endless legalese, until DeSantis gets termed out and fucks off, and whoever his replacement is quietly drops the matter entirely.

You give DeStupid to much credit. This more like Darth Vader force choking some random crew member of the his destroyer.

Memory and a dollar will buy you a small coffee from McDonald’s.

Yeah holy crap pretty much all of the Netflix Marvel shows could have done with 2 or 3 fewer episodes per season.

To its credit, the lingering pace doesn’t translate to any boring moments. Stranger Things still injects an enthralling backstory into its well-established universe.

It’s a show not afraid to ask, “How much Stranger can Things get?”

There’s still a whole new (last) season after the two final episodes.

Sounds awesome to me!

I love it when people run with narratives, despite logic and facts indicating otherwise.  Chappelle didn’t come out against affordable housing, he came out against a plan that didn’t guarantee it, and looked to be a classic bait and switch.

I mean, if I’m going to pay to see a live stand-up act, I’d expect to hear controversial and offensive jokes. Even if said comedian decided to make cracks at my expense....and run with it for the rest of their set, I’d still probably laugh because they’d be right.

You’re right but also people easily triggered should just avoid going to stand-up comedy shows in general.

and they’d be right.

THE HORROR

No, that came across quite well. It literally pulled me out of the film, as I was already considering how JJ and KK would react.
