My trip was Portland-Sacramento-Fresno-San Francisco-Sac-Port. On a cx500. Great bike, but only a 3.2 gallon tank, so I was needing to piss about every time it was running out of gas.
Fairings can be cool, but thanks to the amount of crosswind they can catch, I honestly think it’s better to go without. I’ll take the constant chest beating over the occasionally shocking sideways push

They are amazing and delicious and very good for you. I fry them with butter, onions, garlic, s&p. Brilliant. Plus, they fight dementia, help with nerve damage, and have anti-tumor properties.
2nd gen gained 600lbs + 50hp + more room. Pretty fair trade, IMO

I’ve owned two 2nd gen xBs. Both I’ve used as taxis. I defy you (or anyone) to come up with a better car to be used as a cab. $18k brand new, 24mpg, tons of room, reasonable power, and we are consistently getting 400,000+ miles out of them. I am honestly bummed about the loss of the xB.
