Subaru? Almost every car they have made in the last decade is either super boring looking, or totally overdone and looks like crap. Some are reliable, but many have serious oil usage issues or eat head gaskets and good luck doing anything beyond minor maintenance on one. There is better technology in my 80’s BMW and

Even the smallest diameter fuel line is still pretty large too. He must have REALLY had to go.

These buyers guides are cool and all, but shouldn’t you wait until the car is actually available for sale, and you’ve driven one?

Northern Virginia. Ha so true. The Ceo of my multi billion dollar company drives a 2005 Acura TL. I wonder what he has in his garage.

I think I’ll wait until I can actually buy a Rift or Vive, and get a GPU then. There will likely be something new by then that will be cheaper and better than anything out right now.

I think over time we’ll stop refering to them that way. It used to be easy with BMW, each series/generation had an internal code. Now with so many models and each sub-model having it’s own code, it’s hard to keep up. E46 could mean sedean/coupe/M3/convertible -but all basiclly the same looking car. With the next

I guess that isn’t the free ride he was looking for. Yeah yeah yeah yeah.

HANS should be mandatory. We have a team one that we swap around. They are already mandatory in Chump/AER and Lemons has been pushing them for years. Lemons got lucky on this one.

sounds like he never let off the gas. When he lands, he kicks up a ton of sand. Probably snapped something when the wheels went from full speed to full stop.

I’m amazed every time I see a race with a standing start. It has to be the single most dangerous thing in racing because of exactly this scenario. If someone stalls, is there ever NOT an accident?

You left out the part saying that everyone was OK. Accidents are cool to watch and all, but I really hope that everyone was OK. maybe an article on safety gear and how it saved their ass in this situation. looks like the 911 driver was wearing a HANS. How about the Miata? I bet that Miata driver has a huge headache,

especially in an old car with no ABS. you can see the Porsche swerve the wheel, but the tires locked up and nothing happened.

I bet in that drivers mind, the time between when he got in the accident and when he called in on the radio was a minute. In reality it was about a second. adrenaline is a crazy thing.

Swapped the engine in my BMW m635csi with a newer more powerful M30 engine. Should be easy, I had pulled the engine from another 635csi! Engine would run, but would stall and drop out. Multiple mechanics worked with me to diagnose, multiple scope’s connected at the same time monitoring all the ECU signals. Tried

I saw him in ‘02? they came on after linkin park, and all the little kiddies cleared out, so we could get close to the stage. I always liked STP, but seeing them in concert, even years after they were big. WOW. Scott owned that crowd. Wow. Also learned that day how they made teh sound for dead &bloated - using a

I count potholes as hitting something.

Sure, after you replace parts, you’ll need an alignment. But every time you get a new set of tires (which might be every 20-30k miles)? That seems a bit excessive and just a way to get some money from you. I got an alignment on my old car, and it was SO messed up I had to bring it back to get them to fix it. The

Pot holes will do it. I usually wear my tires out from abuse long before an alignment would matter. They always want to do a 4 wheel alignment too, but for most cars the rear tires can’t be adjusted. It’s a money grab.

They are HUGE! and tiny on the inside. probably factored into why they didn’t sell that many.

Why do they need a wheel alignment? If you don’t hit things, you should never need an alignment.
