Carvana bought my car for $4500 more than I paid new 3 years earlier. They then resold it for $130 more than they gave me.

Their business model is financing. Their site says 80% of buyers use them for financing. They are the buy here pay here of the online car sales and have high interest rates.

Carvana bought my 3 yr old car for $4500 more than I paid new. They then re-sold it a week later for $130 more than they paid me for it. I’m shocked their business model isn’t working. SHOCKED!

It was common back in the 80's when loan rates were crazy high. It would make the house cheaper for the new owner if they could take over your existing low interest rate loan, and then get a second loan for the difference (you would change the name on the loan).

People take over leases, so yes, you do let the buyer of

interesting, what daily’s do you wear? I find the biofinity monthly’s to be more comfortable than my daily’s.

I setup a scale on my bird feeder. when something heavy jumped on it (a squirrel), it would trigger a leaf blower that was aimed at the bird feeder. Worked pretty well to scare them off, but they would still always come back.  After getting woken up at 7am a few times, I just took it all down. I need to find a  better

Wonder how many of those people were just people trying to hack accounts and using a little social engineering on you.

I got a 1st gen sequoia for the same reasons. I was convinced after seeing a guy at the track with one and he liked it. You will have to put some helper airbags in the rear springs, but that’s easy and only about $100.

i’m actually shocked #’s are that good. Who was out buying a car? and of those people, who’s buying a new car right now? were dealerships even open?

there’s a reason all those old bmw’s are on aftermarket rims, the original’s are TRX sized. Few if any tires are available in that size anymore, and they all suck.

I guess this one didn’t have the cop suspension.

Just think of your favorite old Jalopnik writers and see where they’ve gone. TheDrive, road and track are my favs.

I’ve been coming to Gizmodo multiple times a day to see the latest tech news. It’s a bookmark two inches above where I’m now typing this (next to Jalopnik). I came here after reading Engadget for many years, because Engadget changed their design and it wasn’t a page bringing me the latest news anymore.

I get that

Yes, the court doesn’t have to review it. Any future lawsuit against him will either settle with an NDA so that we never know anything about it, or it’ll take dozens of lawyers and years of time to go through the courts, and will be appealed at every step. Trump will be dead before any case is final. Then,  before

That won’t stop him from taking every case to the supreme court, so that suing him will be very expensive and very time consuming.

I want to be a casual iracing player, but damn iracing is the most expensive game I’ve ever seen. I’ve probably played it 10 times, but spent a hundred $ on it. want to race with some friends? oh, shit i don’t own that car or track. oops, i forgot to unsubscribe, there goes $13. If iRacing was priced like every other

Ooh, when I do that, something happens!  Still not in the same league as the others.

Yeah, it’s been the best so far. FanzyZones is useless.

Yeah, I started trying out DF when I got an ultrawide. So far it’s been the best. Actual multiple monitors was ok. So far FancyZones is mostly useless. Only seems to do anything when you use Win+left/Right arrows. Can’t drag/drop

I’ve been trying to decide between displayFusion and “actual multiple monitors”(weird name for an app).
